National Chatterbox Day!
National Chatterbox Day! :) OK, I know this is late, but on CJ's thread titled Lightbulb some buggies were making up holidays just for CB; Christmas in July, Harry Potter Day, etc. National Chatterbox Day was supposed to be on August 12th, but I totally forgot! :p Soo, let's have it today-September 1st! :) Let me think...Chatterbox is now.....2 years old? Am I right Admin? If so wow, it feels like it's been around a lot longer than that! :D I was thinking, maybe everybuggy could say some of their favorite CB memories. I'll start! Hmmm....this will be hard! ;) Well, one of my favorite memories is the first day I ever went on CB-the day that it opened. I met Paige P., Emily L., Allison P., Willa, Horselover, Maggie S., Julia, Hannah, Maddy, Hanna Q., Bellatrix, TNO, Laura, Brynne, Zoe, Grace, Mary Jo, Bekah P., Emma H., Elena B., Cara, Meadow, Pirocks, Leaf, Koffee, Lena, and so many other buggies.....lots of them don't post on here anymore. I love going back to old threads and digging up some from '08 and '09. So many awesome memories! Another one of my favorite memories is from just a couple of months ago. Last year I barely posted on CB at all......I was busy, I decided I didn't have time to post.....well, a couplt of months ago, I came back and made a thread saying that I was back. I was a bit worried-I had left without saying anything, which made me feel badly. Would anyone even remember me? Would they be mad? Well, I had no need to worry! Everybuggy was so amazing and friendly, and even the buggies who didn't know me yet were so very nice! Along with my old amazing buggies, I've met CJ, R~D~, Ima, Vida, Rachel M., Claire E., Cherry, ZNZ, and loads of others! All of you buggies, old and new, are some of my greatest friends. :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
Happy National Chatterbox day! Yes, 2 years is about right. Yay!

This is awesome!!! I didn't see the post Lightbulb, but I understand why everybuggy was doing it--it has to be the best idea on earth! So can we have a National Art Day? Where everybuggy does some kind of art?? This is turning out to be really cool...I've never thought about having Christmas in the summer...must be pretty cool, though. So; when did the Lightbulb person put it up? Okay...I have a question that may sound super dumb, but here goes--why can't I see my post? I always do the code after typing it, but it never appears. It says. "Your post has been created," but I can never find it. It's rather confusing. Oh; and another thing. Where is the Recipe Page in Cricket? I've looked for it in my Cricket, but I can never find it. What page is it normally on? Yes; I've looked on the Contents page. Have you had the latest issue? It's really cool...my favorite page is the "Letterbox," because there are so many people who have the same opinions as me.

After a comment is submitted, it goes into a list of comments to be reviewed by an Admin before it's posted. This assures that only suitable comments will be posted for all to read on Chatterbox. It may take up to a day or longer before your comment is reviewed and posted. We often have recipes in Cricket, but not necessarily in every issue, and we don't have a special recipe page. We just include a recipe when it fits the theme of the issue or the season.

Hey Olivia! :) It usually takes several hours before you can see a comment/thread after you post it. :) Sure, we could have a National Art Day! I think that the Lightbulb thread is somewhere in the Down To Earth section. :) It's all pretty confusing once you start, but after a little while it will be very easy! :) Have fun posting!

Ooh, I didn't answer all of your questions! :p :) I don't think they always have a recipe section, and when they do it's usually food themed on a story in that month's magazine. :) I didn't get the new magazine yet, but I can't wait to read it! You see, my family and I are traveling the USA for a year or two in our RV (like a big trailer) and we don't get mail all that often; probably once or twice a month. :/ I'll have to try and find it next time we go to a bookstore! :) I love the Letterbox too, it's one of my favorite sections! :)

Well, remember that dreams thread that was on here, like last year? It got super long, and sometimes we got off topic on it. this one time I had this discussion with Laura about talking in Shakespearean German in the public bathroom movie theaters...
Another time would be how everyone on the Chatterbox inspired me to be a vegeterian for Lent, and afterwards, even if I wasn't able to stick with it afterwards because of health reasons.

Ahhh... I remember how I got my name. I first appeared on the Lakeclan thread, and kept my same name, to prevent confusion. When I became Dawnbreeze, I stayed as Dawnpaw, because I didn't feel like typing Dawnpaw/breeze on every. Single. Post. I have been here longer than a year, though. /yeah!/

I just love when people mention me and when they post on my threads! It truthfully does make you feel liked! :) I don't really have a favorite memory. I enjoy most every part of CB! Thanks, Kimmie!!

Well, I remember seeing the "teasers" in Cricket and checking out the Chatterbox right at the beginning. It was just starting up and it wasn't that great so I slowly forgot it. Then a few months ago I gave it another try, and I LOVE it! I don't know everybuggy so well yet, sadly. Some of my fave memories have to be the RRs and RPs.

HAPPY (belated) NATIONAL CHATTERBOX DAY!! That was such a good idea, so thanks to whoever came up with it. Wow, two years old. I remember first lurking here and reading everyone's posts and realizing what a great online community this was. And now I'm posting and I've met so many amazing people! Thanks everyone for beeing so great and supportive over the years! And thanks to the Admin for being fantastic and always on the job. :)

Yay! :D Good idea, Kimmie. Hmm, I don't know how to sum
up my favorite memories, because I have so many. I always
love the randomness threads and secret identities. There are
many great memories from those threads for me. :) But I
truly and honestly don't have favorites. Chatterbox all
together has been wonderful, and I'm very glad to be back. XD
I've met many, many great people and I feel really comfortable
here. :) That's about all I can say.
