Happy Hogswatch!

I MADE THIS FOR YOU.

"Thank you. Er... what is it?"

ALBERT SAID THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN SNOW ON IT, BUT IT APPEARS TO HAVE MELTED. IT IS, OF COURSE, A HOGSWATCH CARD.

"Oh..."

THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A ROBIN ON IT AS WELL, BUT I HAD CONSIDERABLE DIFFICULTY IN GETTING IT TO STAY ON.

"Ah..."

IT WAS NOT AT ALL COOPERATIVE.

"Really...?"

IT DID NOT SEEM TO GET INTO THE HOGSWATCH SPIRIT AT ALL.

And Merry Christmas as well, for those who aren't obsessed with Terry Pratchett.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!  (3 days late)  I had a wonderful white Christmas and hope you guys did too!

@R~D~: I got a lot of books.  For those of you Musers out there you probably know of the recent article about Alex, the talking bird who understood what he was saying.  My parents got me the book that goes in depth more called "Alex and Me."  Plus more.... such as the first book in the "Lord of the Rings" series which I've been meaning to read for soo long and just haven't gotten around to reading.

@TNÖ: Happy Hogswatch??!! Deary me, I need to read Terry Pratchett so that I have at least some clue about what you're talking about.

And happy almost New Year!  My cousin is getting married on New Year's Eve!  And I'm very frustrated with them, because they allow kids at the wedding ceremony, but not the reception, because I guess they have an open bar, or something, but the least they could do is have a reception, and then an after party at a bar!  *grrr*  See, I'm pretty sure they all want to drink and kiss at midnight, or something.  But at one of my other cousin's wedding, (in May) they had an open bar, and actually gave some of my underage cousins wine!  And Champagne....  (dear dear, well, they looked old enough...) Not to mention, they had an after party, at a rock and roll bowling alley (which we were allowed to go to and it was SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!)  We actually got back to our hotel around two in the morning.  *reflects*  Ah, good times, good times.... But that doesn't let them off the hook!  See, the problem is, my cousin is the groom, so the other parents are planning, and I guess they don't have any young kids in their family or something.  My aunt Peggy (the groom's mom) said she would have definitely invited us, and that she never goes to weddings where kids aren't invited, but, you know, she's got to go to this one....  *ranting* sorry   But, we are going up there with them, which means us cousins have to hang out around a freezing house while our parents get drunk (well, mine won't, they don't drink) for hours, and we're not even staying an extra day!  Drive up there (about TEN HOURS) sit around and wait for wedding which is at six.  Sleep, drive back (ANOTHER TEN HOURS!!!)  Not fair.  At least it should be snowing, and I've only see snow actually FALLING once, and I was too little to really remember it.  So at least that should be interesting.  But I'm also a little worried about the icy roads, and driving home on New Years day, when a bunch of people might still be drunk....  We bought chains, but I was wondering, is it normal that they only go on the front wheels?  I just want to be safe.  And since a lot of you live in snow, I figured you would know.

Ok, sorry, my posts seem to be getting exceedingly longer and longer........

Oh dear, this is too long, no one has time to read it and answer!  Are chains only on the front wheels safe?  They better be, because we're leaving early in the morning, and you can't answer me in time, and by the time I read your answers, I'll already be there.  Don't hate me if I don't come on much for a couple of days, I may be busy.  Then again, I may be bored, so I may come on more often than usual (which is saying a lot) Then again, there may be no internet!!!  *pulls out hair*  *winces*  I'm not doing so well, am I?
