Okay, I

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Okay, I

Okay, I just wanted to say I'm really sorry. The person I am when I'm on the CB isn't really anything like the real me.  I mean, I haven't lied about anything really, except for my happiness.  Here, I've always posted as a super happy and optimistic girl who can't make a comment without smiley faces.  But in RL, I'm just the typical girl suffering from depression.  I struggle with my faith, have lost almost of my friends, and have had my heart broken.  I'm an expert at hiding my emotions, and no one (like, not even my own family) knows when I'm upset.  But as soon as I go to my room at night, the tears start to fall.  I just wanted to say I'm sorry to all of you who think I'm the super happy smiley girl.  If you're mad, I can leave (lol, that is, as soon as I finish the ten days of Christmas).

pkenzie, I’m sorry to hear that you’re feeling sad. Everybuggy here in Cricket Country and on the Chatterbox loves you. The comments you’ve sent have introduced us to a caring, friendly, fun-loving girl. Even if we haven’t met in person, we are all your real friends who care about you deeply. I’ve always thought of you as the hostess of the Chatterbox, how you welcome newcomers and help them learn their way around.

We love your quizzes! Keep attending activities you enjoy and be on the lookout for others who enjoy the same things. Didn’t you and others from your church just go on a weekend concert trip that you enjoyed?

It is very common for people of any age to struggle with their faith sometimes. Questioning and thinking can make you stronger.

I hope by the time you read this that you’re feeling better. But anytime you’re feeling bad, please talk to a parent or someone at church. They love you and would do anything to help you, but you have to tell them how you feel.

Please reply and let us know how you’re doing! We care very much.

If I know anything about people, it's that they are most comfortable being themselves. You come off as a great person with this amazing personality and I think that deep down, that's who you are. You don't need to be sad, becuase you do have friends and people that care about you. Us. So what if we've never met you in person? We talk and share opinions and support each other. That's what a friend is, isn't it? Someone who always takes your side and lifts you up when you're down?  And don't forget we'll be here for you, whether it's for the real you or not. No one would ever be mad. Not at someone as fantastic as you. So feel better and know that every word of this is nothing but the truth.

Try to remember that God is always there for you. He loves you, the real you. *grin* It helps to really think why you are a Christian and what being a Christian means. I really hope that you'll remember that your CB friends will always be here for you. Always. We love ya, Kenzie, whether your happy smiley Kenzie, or Kenzie who feels depressed and needs some support. We'll be here to support you. Remember that.

Waaaait.  Did you go to the Revolve Tour?  Even if you didn't, that's cool that you said God loves you, the real you. (: If you want a good book, read Redefining Beautiful by Jenna Lucado.  That's pretty much what it's about.  And yeah, thanks!

*hugs* Kenzie, don't leave! I often seem much happier online then I am in real life. Here, I'm a toatally different person than in real life.

I totally understand how you feel. I am also somewhat depressed, and I sort of know how it feels.

If you can, tell someone how you feel. If there seems to be no one who would understand, just remember that I'm here for you.

Awww, thanks CC!  Sorry you feel somewhat depressed, too.  Give your ducks hugs for me! (that is, if you can hug ducks...) (:

NO PAIGEY DONT LEAVE I JUST CAME BAAACK!

And don't worry, I'm going through about the same thing you are. I have periods of time where I'm convinced that everyone hates me, and I don't even care about it because I hate myself as well. I've developed a crush since my disapearance, and even though it's pretty obvious that said boy likes me as well, when I'm in my darker moods I'm convinced that even he and my bestest friends and family hate me. I hope that you will stay, and I hope that you know that you're one of my best friends.

Can you tell I really don't want you to leave, Yegi?
