I'm so sorry I didn't make this thread sooner!! Anyhow, to start the discussion... what sort of music do you like? I like Celtic, some country and folk - basically any music that I find inspiring.

Well, very sadly I didn't watch the full game, since my family doesn't have a TV. But (very very luckily) I did manage to see some highlights of it afterwards, with all the goals and best moments. It was so good!!!! nine goals and Ronaldo against Messi and everything. It's so interesting to see them playing against each other. And PSG won... I must say I wasn't really going for them, as I don't like the personalities of Messi or Neymar terribly much, although Mbappe is both nice and a good player. I believe it was the first game Ronaldo played in Al Nassr! It's a much better team than I would have expected. I mean, playing against PSG and only losing by one goal... And they were all playing so much better, and putting in so much more goals, than they did in the World Cup! I suppose, since it was only a friendly game, the defenders weren't focusing so much. Still, it does make you think that they could get much further if they only tried a bit more in World Cup games.

I think you said it very well. I am a bit surprised my the results. I thought it would go very differently.
I'm sorry that my last post was so short! I find that often my posts are short, but that one was shorter than most.

It's fine that your last post was short! I find that my posts don't seem to be very long either :/ Which soccer clubs do you like to watch? I like some Spanish clubs (mostly, I'm afraid, the famous ones like Barcelona) and also quite a few English clubs (like Tottenham).
Do you like to draw? I do, although I only get around to doing it now and then, when I happen to be inspired (which isn't very often lol)

I like drawing anime characters. I like Naruto, if you've heard of that. In art class, we're drawing houses in perspective.
What kind of things do you like to draw?
Like you, I don't draw a lot.

Wow, I was drawing things in perspective in school just a few days ago!
I'll draw almost anything that I can think of that doesn't seem too complicated. I like drawing people, although it's often very difficult :/ Faces and expressions especially are hard to get right. I often try anyway, though.
Even though I don't have a TV, I do watch some things on PBS, since their programs are on their website and anyone in the US can see them. I love the series All Creatures Great and Small (on PBS) - it's super funny, and interesting, and just enjoyable without being inappropriate or anything like that. I utterly reccommend it :) Have you ever watched it, or read the books it was based on?

I love the tradition of all the CBers coming back on Valentine's Day! (I love practically all of the CB traditions :)) Did you do anything for Valentine's Day? I and my family mostly just make valentines for each other and enjoy the day.

Since I'm new to the CB, how does the Valentine's Day get-together work?
I don't have any Valentine's traditions really, other than eating certain sweets.
Usually I make Valentines for my family, but I was super busy this year.

Basically, all the CBers who have left the CB come back, look around, and post a bit on Valentine's Day. It happens every year, although there's supposed to be an extra large reunion every four years.
Do you have any hobbies other than soccer and writing? (and reading, ofc - I don't think that even counts as a hobby :)) I used to be rather interested in photography, although I don't do that much anymore - I also love walking in the woods, of course, and I'm quite interested in playing the ukulele. I used to play the piano as well, but lately I don't seem to be very interested in that anymore :(

I used to dabble in guitar, but fell out of practice. I am a nordic ski racer, so I am very busy in the winter, with practices three days a week, and at least one race a week. I'm not sure if you call that a hobby, but (shrugs) oh well.
I also go to a Forest School where I don't go to school on Tuesdays. I basically spend 5 hours in the woods learning survival skills. I guess that's a hobby!

Ooh, guitar. I've always thought it would be interesting to be able to play it! From what I've heard, though, it's pretty complicated, and also we don't even have a guitar, so oh well. A Forest School? Wow, I've never heard of those! Are they a part of your school? It must be super interesting to learn survival skills and things like that :) I just go to the woods to walk around on trails and sometimes birdwatch a little.
Are you at all interested in theater? I basically love acting and pretending to be different characters, although, as I don't go to school, I don't take proper classes.

Since my grandfather makes guitars, we have so many. My Forest School isn't part of my school. I am interested in theater! When I was 8, I was a part of a production of the Phantom Tollbooth. I was going to be in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, but then Covid hit. Since then, I've been too busy with sports to really do any theater.
