Daylily~

I split off from Luna and Callisto and head for the girl's dormitory. I wonder how weird it'll be to have my CBer as my teacher. I can trust that she won't embarrass us too badly, but I doubt I'll feel completely comfortable with it.

There are already several girls in the dormitory when I get there, clamoring for bunk beds. The space is huge, so I move past the general chatter and find an open bunk. Dragging my suitcase to the foot of the bed, I start planning out how I'll organize my things. I place certain things on my nightstand or in the small drawer it has and stuff other things in my backpack among all of my books. Once I'm satisfied with how functional my new space is, a grab a book to read.

Before I can peel the pages open, however, someone approaches me. "Hi, is this top bunk taken?"

Callisto~

Luna and I are walking to the Headmaster's office. I hope I won't be bothering them, the first day of school has got to be really busy for them! But Luna's feeling rushed, so I doubt we'll be there for too long. I just need to ask if they have a dorm room for us nonbinary AEs. I'm a little nervous to ask about it- this isn't something I want to make a fuss about, but I know I'm far from the only non-binary AE. Maybe if we do have a dorm, we could have some good times together!

Luna's asking about clubs and finalizing which clubs Daylily and I are in. She decided at the last minute that she wanted to captain a Scholastic Bowl team. I hope some others are interested in that, I think we all could have a fun time.

Ms. Starr~

After I talk with Nightfall about the clubs, I hurry over to my classroom. I'd really hate to be late to my own class on the first day. I settle into my desk and take a look at my classroom. I've already set up my desk area- drawers organized, writing utensils and other necessities laid out in front of me, candy stashed in my top-secret spot, and a picture of Daylily, Callisto and Boo facing me. I'm feeling ready to take on the day.

I wander slowly into the school, not really wanting to be there but not having anywhere else to go, either. I examine the papers Wree gave me. There's a list of the clubs I'm joining, as well as a map of the school with the important stuff circled. She's not organized enough, I think, she forgot to circle the Coding club classroom. I shake my head a bit and continue farther into the main hall. I look up and see lots and lots of CBers and CAPTHCAs, talking excitedly among themselves. For the first time in my life, I feel a little bit lonely, like I wish I had a sibling. But I shake that thought out of my brain quickly. I grudgingly hand the lady at the fancy front desk my club list, which isn't very long. Wree signed me up for the Introverts Club-doesn't sound very exciting. "Where are the girls' dorms?" I ask the tall, young-looking lady. She smiles widely and points me in the right direction. "That-a-way!" she says cheerfully. I pull up the hood of the new, cozy sweatshirt Wree gave me as a first-day-of-school present up over my head tightly and stuff my hands, papers included, into the pockets. The flow of other students around me reminds me how little I know what to do here. Then, the flow stops and the chatter lessens. I look up, then realize I'm in the girl's dorms. I find the quietest area and throw my backpack onto the nearest surface. I carefully unpack my folded clothes and my laptop and Raspberry Pi. I place the coding things on a pretty white-painted desk and the clothes in a matching dresser. Then, I look around quickly. Another AE is sitting on the bottom bunk, just about to open a book. I turn to her. "Is this top bunk taken?" I ask shyly, pulling the hood even harder. She looks at me with a calculating, cynical gaze, but from years of experience, I can tell it's just a show. My inner instincts indetify a kindred spirit. She seems to recognize that, too, and, slowly, she smiles. I smile back shyly. "It's open," she says. I climb up and observe it in a flash. It seems comfortable enough, and I'm satisfied with my choice of beds.

Hey Night, is it too late to join? Somehow I just became interested in this thread, and I know my AEs would love to go to school! 

@Nightfall and Wreeboo, both Stormfly and Rory replied to Daylily. Do you think we could have both of them asking her something, even if it's not about her bunk, or do some other kind of re-write?

Callisto~

I thank principal DreamFire and head towards my dorm. I smile thinking about the people I could meet there. No need to be nervous, right? I'd love to get to know them...

With a deep breath, I push open the door. Two AEs are already here, and by the way they're interacting, I start to think they're siblings.

"Hello," I say shyly, hoping I don't startle them.

"Hey! Welcome to the LGBTQ+ dorm! I'm Demon," one of them says as they bounce exitedly on the top bunk. "They/them pronouns. I'm so EXCITED!"

I grin at Demon's happiness as the other AE introduces themselves. "-Angel. Also they/them."

"I'm Callisto. ae/aers. It's great to meet you both." I smile awkwardly for a second before I drag my suitcase to the bunk across from Demon and Angel's. I'm not exactly sure when homeroom starts, or when Angel and Demon want to go there... I guess I'll just wait and see what they'd like to do.

And i have a serious and dignified rainbow jacket with incredibly sophisticated purple and red polka dot pajama pants.

"Isn't this exciting?!" I cheerily said to Alice as we walked up to the school's front doors. 
"Sure. A bit... nerveracking as well," Alice replied. 
I rolled my eyes. Alice always likes to take the fun out of things. "Are you worrying about those silly social interactions and new places? Don't worry, this is a fun place! And interacting is easy! I can even help y-" 
"No, I'm fine, thanks," Alice interrupted. 
I paused a little. "Oh. Okay then! Hope you have fun doing nothing then! Just like Shade! Wait, where did he go?" 
"Where he always goes. Flying out to find a spot away from other people." 
"Oh gotcha. See, he's just like you!" I giggled. 
Alice gave me a face. 

We soon seperated, Alice wanting to explore the school (i dont know why, the dorms ARE part of school. And she says she's smart) and I wanting to go to the dorms! I wandered around the school a bit, trying to find the dorms. In the elementary wing, I found two other AEs, Angel and Caleb Morse! What luck! I walk over to them. 
"Can I join you guys?" I asked. "I don't know where the dorms are or anything, and groups are fun!" 
"Oh, uh, sure," Angel said. "I know where the dorms are, just follow us." 
"Alright!" I said, quickly joining them.  

Another AE, Jade, called Caleb over. It was just me and Angel then. We soon came to three doors, each probablyyy leading to each dorm. "Well, here we are." Angel said. I realized her tone was a little uncertain. Aha, another AE like Alice! I'll have to help her with social interactions later. 
"Alright, thanks!" I grinned, before running into the girl's dorm. 

I squealed a little at the sight of a pretty room with tons of beds. A new, great home for now! I immediately took a lower bunk and started unpacking. I wanted to make everything as homey as possible. Soon after, Jade came and took the top bunk. If I wasn't under the bunk bed, I probably would have jumped for joy. My new bunkmate! Bedmate? Oh well, I'll figure it out later. 
"Hi Jade!" I said. 
Jade replied, "Hi Sally, ready for school?" 
"You bet!" 
I and her unpacked. Shaping up to be a great day! It's not possible for Alice or even Shade to not get excited at this place!

Instead of doing them all at once, I'm going to focus on each of my characters individually so they have more time to shine. This post was basically an introduction/setup thing.
