Ahhh thank you! (And thanks for the cupcakes, too, Jewel!) To answer your question, well, the short version is that my sister Poetic Panda used to do it on all her posts, too. The longer version is that I really idolized Poetic growing up, and I wanted to be just like her. So when she showed me this cool new website called the Chatterbox, and how to post things on it, I thought that you were supposed to sign off like that, since she did it, and at that point I thought she knew everything. Even when she left and I stayed, I kept doing it, because it was habit at that point. Now, 5-ish years later, I still do it. I feel like it's my signature "thing", now, besides an excessive use of commas, apparently. XD I think that's also the first time I've ever explained why I do that, so thanks for asking!

Haha, thanks for the confetti! And as for your questions...

-Well, first of all, keep in mind that I suck at drawing hands. Like once in a blue moon, I draw one that looks vaguely passable. Um, but I'd say reference pictures help a lot! I sort of draw out the vague shape and drape of the hand as I see it in the picture (or mirror), and then I block in the fingers. I usually draw in the thumb as a separate thing from the other fingers, and then chunk out the index and pinkie, leaving the middle and ring together in one chunk. I'll probably just draw this out later for you, since I don't know if I'm making sense, but the bottom line is reference everything like heck.

-Purple! Hands down, my favorite color is purple. I'm not too picky on the shade.

-My advice to you is to do something simple, like a video call or phone call.It's more personal than a text If you're worried about messing up your friendship-- if they're a real friend, it won't matter! My best friend and I are still as close as ever. Good luck!

Thank you, I did have a good birthday! My favorite thread... well, of course I have a soft spot for the ultimate picturings thread, the what you are wearing thread, and the art posting thread. I also love compliment threads. Just seeing all that positivity towards one another makes me so happy, as sappy as that sounds! But I think my all-time favorite thread was from about 2 years ago. I think Micearenice made it, but if anyone knows differently, please correct me! It was a thread where we'd hand write letters to other CBers and then post pictures of the letters. It was like a big post office full of cool messages in everyone's handwritings. I've never seen anything like it, before or after! I've thought about rebooting it but never got around to it.

-being 16 feels like being 15, but fancier.

-I have in fact travelled to a famous city! I went to Europe last summer on a school trip. I went all over Germany, most notably Stuttgart, and I also went to Italy, specifically Florence and I stayed the night in Rome. I didn't get to see any sights in Rome, though I did travel around Florence by foot.

Oh, bother, I submitted it before I finished my questions! That's what I get for trying to do this at 1:30 in the morning, haha. Here we go!

-If I could dye my hair any color, I would dye it blonde or purple! Fun fact, I actually did dye a strand of my hair purple once, but it came out within 10 minutes and I haven't done it since.

-It's really insane! I think there are also people who have been here longer than me. My official-ish CBerversary is coming up in August, and this is the first time I'll actually be celebrating it (to my knowledge, I do have a bad memory though) so I'm excited. As for the thing I miss the most... probably the people? 5 years is a long time for anyone to stay, and although I've tried to keep in contact with old CBers, for the most part it hasn't been successful. I mentioned a few older CBers in my original post-- most notably, Air-- and it stinks that there's very few people here who can keep the older CBer's memories alive. With that being said, I love interacting with the new generations of CBers too! I don't think that the "oldies" are any better than the rest of y'all. I just miss them. Whew, that got sappy fast.

Goodness me, I just can't seem to actually finish this post, can I? Coming up on part 3, now. I thought of something else I miss! This one's a little more peculiar. There used to be like 5 different people with dragon related names (Shadow Dragon, Dragonrider, myself, and a few other people) and we kind of had a bit of a camaraderie. I remember someone remarking upon all our dragon-related names in a post, and it was a shock to see my own name there, since at the time I was  relatively new CBer and I thought it was so cool to be included. It's just a other little something I remembered. It's also something I miss, since I'm the last active CBer of that little group. But there's also a sort of new group of dragon-esque names, I suppose, of Porcelain Dragon, Starchaser, and myself? But neither of them are too active at the moment.
