Stargirl asks who Coral is. I say “coral issss onnne offff dlpn’s aaee’s sheee issss dlpn’s sensible sidee. rigel think youuu would likee heerr. iiiii think sheee issss comng later iffff youuu wantt toooo meeet heerr” Rigel says, “she’s really pretty!” I give him an exasperated stare. I do a really good exasperated stare. 

Niko~

Nihil surprises me when the slow dance starts by taking my hand and guiding me into the dance, almost without missing a beat. I twitch and my first instinct is to pull away, but I instead twirl Nihil around, trying to hide the fact that she startled me. She looks at me, and I realize that I've never stood close enough to her to notice how dark and deep her eyes actually are. I blink.

Harper~

Penny touches my arm, and I turn to look at her, snapping out of my gaze. I turn warm as she asks, "Hey do you wanna go somewhere else? I bet we can find a room with video games or something." I nod and look at her eyes. I smile. Penny's really pretty. I can tell she was thinking about shipping, too, but I start to drag her along by the arm. "Come on!" I smile at her. We walk down the hall and I let go of my arm, but let my hand slip down into hers, and I can't belive she wants to hold onto my hand as tight as I want to hold onto hers. We look at each other and smile as we walk down the hall, our hands clapsed together.

Adelaide~

When Stargirl walks away, Apollo and I stand there for a little. After some akward silence, Apollo shifts and asks me sort of shyly, "S0000...., d0 y0u h4v3 4ny s1bl1ngs, 4d3l41d3? 1 h4v3 s1x, thr33 43s and thr33 c4ptch4s."

"Oh, um yes, I do. We have one captcha, Phox, but I think maybe Spellbound might want another one. And I have Harper, Ethan, and Grace. So, I have four siblings."

"0h, ok4y," Apollo says.

"yeah..." I reply, swinging my head around to look for Stargirl. She's talking to a fox and a dog. I look back at Apollo. "um, want to go to the snack table?" I ask akwardly. He replies,"0h, sur3," and we start to head over.

Phox~

"Uummm, whaat arree yoouu doing uuppp heree?" Hazel asks as Nakai and I land. "Idon't reall yknow. Igues sIwas jealo ussof mysis terss, andII wante dsome oneto taalk ttooo, whaat about yoouu?" I reply, and wait for one of them to respond.

I notice Apollo and Adelaide walking over. I grin. "Adelaide and Apollo! Hi! Meet Rigel and Vixen, Dolphin's CAPTCHAS. Rigel and Vixen, these are my friends." A slow song comes on. "Um..do you guys wanna dance?"  I say with a smile in my voice.

Stargirl asks if we want to dance, and when the next song comes on Rigel pulls me onto the dance floor. He swings me around, handing me off to Stargirl while Apollo swings Adelaide to him. Rigel is grinning and laughing. Soon I end up with Adelaide while Stargirl, Rigel, and Apollo do some weird three person dance. I look at Adelaide and say, “whooo arrrr thhee peopl apollo pnted ouutt?”

Adelaide~

As Apollo and I walk over, Stargirl asks us if we want to dance. It's a slow song, but everyone agrees to dance anyway. But then, the slow song ends and I end up dancing with Vixen, a small fox. Spellbound's favorite animal, and I smile. He asks, "whooo aarre tthee pepol apolo pontd oouut?" I look down at him and answer, "Niko is Nyx's AE, and Apollo's brother. Nihil is Porcelain Dragon's Captchae, and the two of them are dancing together." I realise I am dancing with him as we talk about it. I made a lot more friends than I expected-I didn't really expect any. But I made them, and I hope to keep them.

Lux~

"WHAT" I shout as my eyes light up. Jumping up to get a better look, I search for my sister's large black wings, and find her fairly quickly. Indeed, she is dancing slowly and gracefully with Niko. My wings flare and I squeal girlishly. "Yes!!" Vivian giggles, but her eyes show she's confused.

"Why do you say that?" She asks. I grab her hands excitedly.

"Nihil is the most secretly lonely and insecure person I've ever met. If she's dancing with Niko, then maybe she's learning that she's more worthy of people's friendship than she thinks."

•When I walk in I head over to the food table to drop off the brownies that I brought. I notice some cocktail shrimp and grab some. Then I look around for Vixen and Rigel. I see them dancing with some people I don’t know, so I wait for the song to end. Vixen says something to them and they all walk over to me. Vixen introduces us. “coral, thiss issss apolo, adlde, anddd strgl. evrne,thiss issss coral.” Apollo and Adelaide are clearly a couple, but Stargirl doesn’t appear to be here with anyone. She’s really pretty. A song comes on that I like and I ask her if she wants to dance.•

My eyes widen. "That's just like Niko!" I squeeze Lux's hands back. "When he first made friends with Nihil, when he was still Rhaksha, I could hardly believe it! I never thought he would dance with anyone at the ball, but I'm so glad he did."

That would be cool! I have to ask Spellbound bc I don't know if Adelaide and Stargirl  are getting shipped??? I think Stargirl's at least 2 years older than Adelaide though so I think Coral and Star should be okay. :)
