Like, seriously leaving the CB? 

Hey, y'all.

I have my own opinions and feelings on this matter, and they're pretty strong opinions. I'd very much like to respond to many of you, and ask a question of y'all, because to be frank, I'm not quite understanding some peoples' stances on these issues.

But I'm not going to.

The purpose of this thread was not to be a debate. It was created so Artimerrx could update AW on the status of their AEs' relationship, as well as reveal something new about Sebastian. That's it. This was not a thread created for hostility on either side and I'm kind of shocked that y'all let it turn into this.

It's Pride Month, which makes this hurt more. This is a time to be embracing and celebrating our identities, not having them attacked, yet again. It's really, really not okay to take a thread that's doing exactly that and turn it into an argument! I don't care which side you're on. If you're doing this, you're being petty and inconsiderate.

If you want to continue this conversation, please take it elsewhere. Stop hijacking this thread.

I propose we stop this argument, take a step back, and look at the big picture.

The CB was created for young authors and artists to share their works and be creative together. My request is that we do just that.

They say you should never talk about death or politics at the dinner table, because it's meant to be a place to get along peacefully. The CB is our dinner table, and the topics we introduce should be chosen carefully.

Let's all take a deep breath, step away from this thread, and go back to the beginning.

Can we go back to being friends?

Anyway, @Artimerrx, @Sebastian, congrats Sebastian on coming out! :D

I don’t know what ‘fight’ people are talking about. Sure, spears were thrown. There was—is—tension. But mostly I see people being respectful in their disagreement. 

But I agree with Mice. I think we have discussed this topic more than enough, and it’s time to take a step back. I don’t see us getting anywhere by keeping this discussion going. I think it’s time to let the thread die.  

Sebastian here, and I'd like to say thank you to everyone who supported me through this thread, and reminding others what the purpose of it was.
