I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. poem i worte yesterday
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Blooming rose,
red as can be.
The flower grows,
for all those to see.
The dawn of the sun,
and dew of the flower.
The banquets begun,
in this boisterous hour.
Back in Rome,
When Caesar still reigned.
“The roses were hung”
The nobles explained.
“We shall drink.”
“Drink your fill”
but the words on the brink,
you shall not let spill.
A potion of love,
the scent is extract.
The mother of doves,
The cork has been cracked.
Glory of a god,
Her sign of the swan.
Her beauty is awed.
Like golden of dawn.
The rose is grand,
unlike it’s sleepy sister.
Out reaches the hand,
the thorns cause a blister.
Begins the fall,
the roses wilt.
The petals sprawled,
it’s beauty spilt.
Out goes the rose,
and in comes the fall.
It’s splendor still grows,
pleasing to all.

at my high school we had to do a biology project that was basically 'build this doomed-to-fail excuse for a functional ecosystem in a tower of plastic bottles and keep it alive for eight weeks'. the aquatic part of the 'ecosystem' had to include a betta fish. we had to bring in the 'ecosystems' to class after eight weeks had passed. everyone had a plan for what to do with their fish afterwards except for this one kid. it went somewhat like this:
the kid: Does anyone want this betta? I don't want it.
me: I would take it but my mom says I can't adopt more animals :(
the kid: I guess I'll just put it with someone else's betta and watch them fight
me: on second thought, I don't trust you with a live animal. I will gladly take that fish.
as for the spider, I simply have no explanation.

I'm doing the same project with my environmental science class right now! so far we've managed to skill and/or behead all of our plants, so not sure if my teacher is going to let us put a fish in there with our track record haha

Awwwwww my crush is so adorable and sweet and amazing and I love him so much <33333 Like he's literally laugh-out-loud funny, and caring, and full of energy and he's always ready to see the positive side of things, and he's one of the most incredible people I know (and also super super cute) <33

Celine, hi!!! I've been thinking about you too <3 Things have been kind of up-and-down, tbh, but overall I've been all right :) Just kind of... adjusting to things? And yesterday I saw both my crush and a guinea pig as a bonus, which was altogether too much cuteness and very much made my day. How've you been? I've missed talking with you <3

Good to hear :) good luck with adjusting to things though!! And ahh I love guinea pigs!!! Once I got to piggysit my friend's guinea pigs and they were adorable (zoomies!!)!!! Ahh, thank you <33 uh haha just stressed and also I'm sick now :/ but since I'm sick, I don't have to go to school tomorrow! So... oddly, yay, because now I have another day to catch up on my homework? :D And yess!! *faints with you (no but he stays at school late so he'll just watch the girls' soccer practice and shout out encouragement and advice lol. Which on one hand is pressuring but on the other, he (and all my classmates in general) are so supportive <3)*
(also I somehow got him to read a wlw romance lol idk I find that funny because he doesn't seem like the type to read romance but at the same time he seems exactly like the type to read romance XD.)

Thanks :) Oh my gosh, guinea pigs in plural?? That must have been super nice (zoomiesss <3 Also, have you ever seen a guinea pig popcorn? It's when they give a happy little jump, and it really does make them look like popcorn) Aww, that's awful :( I hope you get well soon, and that the homework does itself *sends positivitea and homework-eating guinea pigs*
Oh my gosh your crush sounds so nice <333 I get it, my crush is also so supportive (not terribly related to romance, but one of the things I really love about him is that he's so sweet with little boys - I mean, you'd think he was some sort of really amazing big brother) And woo about the romance novel!! Yeah I guess all crushes are innately people who should read romance novels, because I mean romcom boys <3 My crush's watched a couple of romance movies, and admitted to one of his friends that he actually kind of liked them, which was so nice. In short, well, crushes <33
