Hiii y'all! I'm at the airport rn to go to Colorado and Utah (for national parks mainly) but the tsa line is disturbingly long. The plane leaves in an hour, I rly hope we make it... and the connecting flight... anyways I can't wait to take a bunch of pictures of ~nature~. @Admins, would I be allowed to post some of the pictures (ones with no ppl obviously) here after? I think so, right?

Also later today I'm hosting a teen open mic event at my local bookstore! I'm kind of nervous because I have awful stage fright but hopefully it'll be fine. It's always nice to hear creative works read by people who are super passionate about it.

It went well! We had a nice little crowd and only like five readers (it was the last day of school) but it was still fun. I went out to pizza after and it was great :D

Well, I'm officially an eighth grade graduate <3 I gave a speech last night because I'd won a big award back in February! I was nervous but it went really well and I got a lot of compliments. I won a few more awards last night too, and my friends won a couple as well! I was so proud of them!
Only now am I getting nostalgic. Funny how I spent most of this time wanting to leave middle school, and now I'm sort of sad to. My last day is Monday, and then that's it.
Congratulations on your awards, Periwinkle! You can cherish your early school memories for the rest of your life while you move on to your next adventures.

...now I'm getting nostalgic lol, and I haven't even done that yet! But congrats on all the awards (no surprise there :D)!!!! And congrats on your speech, because public speaking. O_O umm... idk what to say haha but maybe take this summer break if you want and really make some time for yourself and stuff if you haven't because I hear high school is... really tough? And yeah, I get the nostalgia. Make sure to have fun in high school too though! Um. *awkwardly leaves post*
