I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

Your friend could write the story using they/them pronouns, then before showing it to their parents use the "find + replace" feature to turn every they into a he or she
wait never mind that wouldn't work because then it would turn every time it was a plural indicator into he/she
they could change it manually maybe?

Well, what I do (bc that's kinda my situation too, 'cept Idk how my parents feel), is I write two versions of the story. If your friend is writing online, he can copy and paste the story, and just change the pronouns in one so he can show his parents but keep the true one with right pronouns, which woah sounds kinda deceitful now that I read back but that's how I do it.

Ok, so Tom Holland is British right? He plays Spiderman and one of the brothers from Onward (BTW Dad's gotta think 'bout lettin' me see it, 'cause it has stuff in it he doesn't approve of but I told him I was only wantin' to watch it 'cause it has Chris Pratt in it ANYWAY) and, this is comin' from someone who hasen't even SEEN any movie's Tom's been in, idk if his characters have British accents, so I just assumed he was BORN in England, but moved to America before he got his accent, right?
Well, recently, I was watchin' somethin' (don't ask, I have my ways), AND HE DOES HAVE A BRITISH ACCENT!!
Also, is Chris Pratt handsome or WHAT?!!
Youth Group starts tomorrow, but I'm still kinda sick, but I think I can go. I was wantin' it to be on Fridays, which is what I told the YG leader (and my friend), but it's on Wednesdays, so that means when Dad's on the day shift, I can go, but I CAN'T go when he's on the night shift, unless my uncle was willin' to drive me. I hope I see my crush tomorrow; haven't seen him for a WHILE. Not since Rory and I had our last argument, which was back in... *mentally calculates*

He does have a British accent! I remember being shocked when i heard that because in Spider-man and Onward, he puts on a very excellent American accent where you could never tell he wasn't from here
(also, i can't help but be curious: what in onward doesn't your dad want you seeing?

@Tsuki, it's kinda hard to explain, but my dad's SUPER overprotective 'bout what I see (no kiddin', he actually looks up the ratin' and reviews for EVERYTHIN') and he said that the plot of Onward is where two elven brothers (strike one) go on a quest and do various magic spells (strike two) to bring back their dead father (strike three).
*Sigh* this is one of those times where I wish I had parents like Rory's: chill, and don't really care what I do or where I go.
Look, he actually had to CHECK one of my fave video maker's channels, EVEN THOUGH HE DOESN'T EVEN SWEAR (Online personality guy, not dad, dad doesn't swear either). I have super-overprotective parents...

huh. that's interesting. i was confused because onward is rated pg, but i thought you had watched guardians of the galaxy (pg13)

I wish I could've watched Guardians of The Galaxy.... dad probably won't let me. The only reason why I know what that is is 'cause Dad saw the first two films, and I had the junior novelization of it (What I wouldn't give to get that book back...).
I also have a couple of other ways that I know some 'bout the movies that I'm not gonna talk 'bout, LOL.

So I got my math test back today....
Good news: I did better than I thought I would (which means I didn't fail, though I was quite sure I would)
Bad news: I got a 70%, aka very close to failing? Oop well my mom's annoyed now- at least I'm not dead?
