Random Thoughts/Things?
I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

*WARNING!* If you don't like rants...don't read this.
This a good rant tho
Yesterday I found out there was a cat cafe in my area. I couldn't go to it because I had to book a rezervation...couldn't...no time.
But what I did do today, was go into boston. I went to the Mapuriam, hunted down statues, walked around Chinatown and went inside a big library. I forget the name of it.
The Mapuriam is a really interesting place. It's like looking at the a huge, neon map that wraps around you. Finding all of my favorite places was really fun. Because it's a dome, sound bounces of the walls. So if you ever go there, go with some one. And try standing at opposet ends of the dome...and whisper! You can hear eachother! so cool.
The only statue I can remember the name of, was the Edgar Allen Poe statue. It was so cool! The raven was HUGE! And so much detail! I'll post a picture sometime. Just not now.
I didn't spend much time in the library..but it was really cool.
NOW! The best part....Chinatown. I would have walked arond alot more, but I just went there to get Bao Buns. I did get boba though, it was really good! The Bao buns where....mmmm...so good. The bread was so sweet! And the filling...nom to the tenth power.

the mapparium!! I've seen pictures of that place and it looks so cool! it's in the mary baker eddy library, I believe.
my mom and I are actually going into boston tomorrow to have tea at the boston public library and I kinda wanna see it now...
ok I just google mapped it and the mapparium is only a 13 minute walk from the BPL. I'll ask my mom if we can go check it out tomorrow, maybe!
I've been inside the mapparium on a trip to Boston quite a few years ago. It is remarkable!

OMG I JUST WENT TO A CAT CAFE YESTERDAY AND THEY PLAYED 3 SONGS I KNEW AND-
We go to play PathFinder (which is kind of like DnD) every couple of weeks, and sometimes it's to our "local" cat-cafe. Still a good hour's travel though.

I wrote some poems yesterday in Spanish, and I'd love to post them on the regular poetry thread... but I believe the CB doesn't allow foreign languages. (@Admin, am I right in assuming that we aren't allowed to post poetry that we've written in a language other than English?)
Of course, even if I could, not everyone would be able to understand it... :/
It's funny, when I'm writing novels and stories I simply have to write in English, but for poetry, I like Spanish so much better. It's a really poetic language, I think.
You're right, we only post comments in English. I agree that Spanish is a beautiful-sounding language, also Italian, and likely many others I don't know.

Everyone who likes relatable sad songs, go listen to Chaotic and Don't Be Sad by Tate McRae- doesn't disappoint T-T

Just realized that this thread is four years old.

2019 was FOUR years ago??? That is not okay.

Agreed. But it was before covid, which makes it seem so long ago.

the trees are covered in a layer of ice right now and it just looks like some kind of fantasy forest made of glass :)
and water is leaking through some of our windowsills :/
the trees are amazing though
and it's all rainy and cold
I guess this goes to show that with any wet, snowless, dreary winter day comes an element of poetic beauty.

Sometimes you're productive, and sometimes you spend the entire night jamming out to MCR.
