I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

Thank you so much!!! I'm actually pretty nervous about the genders and wish I had more "normal" genders (I have around three or four, I think) so this means a lot to me :D And I hope that you realize what a wonderful lizard/cat/octopus/dragon/etc you are <3 We're here if you ever need us.

If you don't mind me asking, what are your genders (or what is one), and/or could you elaborate/explain a little? I'm curious, as I haven't met anyone else who is (has?) xenogender, at least not that I know of.
If this question is too personal or whatever, just ignore this comment! (You can just not reply at all if you want.)

I think xenogenders and neopronouns are so cool! The variations of them and the meanings behind them are very interesting to me. I agree with Snazzy, I know that you'll only receive positive vibes from the CB, and I definitely don't think that anyone will thank badly of you <333

Of course! Personally, I feel a bit confused on the concept of xenogenders, but I'll make sure to learn more! They seem really cool... And of course I'm fine with neopronouns! I use xe/xem myself, and kit/kits sound absolutely beautiful <33 What are your pronouns again?

Eee this is going so well! I get that xenogenders can be confusing. If you ever have any questions about anything, you can @ me (Blackfooted Bobcat, not a puddle of stress) and I'll do my best to answer. Obviously I'm not an expert or anything. But I'd be willing to do that :D And can I just say that xe/xem pronouns are cool too? I don't like them for myself, but I think they sound awesome for others : ) Most pronouns feel weird for me though XD
On that note, I'm thinking about ve/vyr/vrys/vym/vyrself and fe/fugue/fugue/fugues/fugueself. I'll give some examples of both. Although don't worry about getting the conjugation exact, just basically use those vague ideas. I'm not even allowed to use they/them in real life, so most things are a step up. And I get that fe/fugue could be hard to use so don't stress out about it!
Example for ve/vyr: "Ve left vyr book when ve was getting repairs on vyr violin, so ve needs to go get the book. Maybe vyr friend will get it for vym. Ve's a little busy vyrself. The book isn't actually vyrs, ve borrowed it from the library."
Example for fe/fugue: "Fe said fugue violin had a warped bridge and fe needed to get it fixed. So when fe went to get fugue violin repaired fe read fugue book while fe was waiting. Fe put fugue book down when fugue violin's bridge had been replaced, and fugue went home with fugueself and without fugue book. The book isn't actually fugues, though, fugue borrowed it from the library."

Lots of people have already answered, but I shall add my own reply as well. Do not fear! Everyone on the CB is accepting and will definitely respect your neopronouns and xenogender(s). If any hate gets through the filter of the Admins, I personally will jump out of a tree and whack them on the head with a spruce branch, and I'm sure many others will as well.
To be honest, I think the way I experience gender might fall under some xenogender catagory, too. I prefer not to stress about labels and just identify as non-binary, but maybe I should explore the realm of xenogenders more and see; I don't know an absolute ton about xenogenders, but they seem very interesting and like they might describe me. If I had to describe how I felt gender, I might say it feels kind of like a wisp or a rare moth or a night forest breeze or something. I also am slightly interested in what neopronouns are like, particularly xe/xyr. By the way, believe me, I have also been down the rabbit hole of gender identity stress.
Anyway, yeah! Feel free to talk about your gender and pronouns on the CB; we will always support you. <3

Just a note: if you want to look into xenogenders and try to find some that fit you, that's great! But you absoloutely don't have to. You could even just identify as xenogender. And if you want me to, I could write a few sentences about you with xe/xyr pronouns (stuff like "oh, this is Fireflye, xyr art is awesome and xe's a really nice person with (a) really cool gender(s))". Not anything super long, just a sort of test-out. If you don't want that that's fine, just giving you an option : )

I am not lgbtq+ myself, but I am very supportive of it and I don't agree with the people who think it's wrong, bad, or that the lgbtq+ people are just "faking it." It's who they are. And I'm pretty sure every single CBer is as accepting as I am. And if anyone says anything unkind, I'll defend you with all I'v got!

If you don't mind answering first, when I see "star" posting "@"s, who are you? Thanks if you answer, there are a lot of star names on the CB :D
And second, thanks! Even within the LGBTQIA+ community a lot of people think that xenogender people are cringey or are just doing it for attention (which I don't get because why would you want the not-fun stuff that comes from not being cis and then also have half of the LGBTQIA+ community turn on you?), so I'm glad people seem to be good with it here :D And thanks for being accepting of LGBTQ+ people too, even though you're not personally. *happy purring sounds*

It's okay! My parents planned a last minute replacement trip to Hawaii, and I'm at the airport now! It's an 11 hour flight, but I'm very excited (I've never been to Hawaii before!)
