Random Thoughts/Things?

Random Thoughts/Things?

I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

Heeeeeyyy y'all, soooo

My mom's getting surgery tomorrow and I'm super nervous about it cuz she's gonna be staying at my grandma's afterward, and imma be there too, but I'm mostly nervous because what if something goes wrong? And also at my grandparents' house the way they eat dinner is super awkward, with just silence, and they never listen to ANY music and idk lizards I'm just scared.

:')

Writing, many people have successful surgery every day. We'll keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. Let us know how she's doing in the days ahead. I remember being scared when I was about 7 or 8 and my mother had emergency gall bladder surgery. But she made a full recovery. You can be a big help to your mom as she recovers. Try to thing of some dinner conversation topics to bring up with your grandparents. Ask them questions about when they were little. What was their school like? Maybe other Chatterboxers will have some suggestions for you. And I bet there are other CBers whose parents have had surgery.

Aw Writing your mom will make a full recovery! I think I speak for everyone when I say I'm sending prayers and good vibes for her surgery to go well. My dad has had a few surgeries and my friend's mom has a ton, and so has my aunt, so let me tell you this from experience: The results are incredible. Every single surgery anyone I know has had has gone well, and afterwards they feel so much better. One of my aunts does surgeries, actually. The relief after is almost overwhelming, when they start feeling so... spry. Happy. So much less pain. It's amazing. *hugs* If you need someone to talk to, we got you. Love you (platonically ofc) <3

Yeah, a family member of mine has actually had a lot of surgeries. Even though every time we were all scared, they always did fine and are healthy and happy to this day. Remember that doctors do surgeries every day and have had to go through lots of school to do it! I'll be sending good luck to both you and your mom.

That's good. I had surgery a few months ago on my gum, and I got an infection on my soft palate. Something I'd rather not do again.

Daily Life Hack and Fun Fact:

Life Hack: if you have an iPhone with Face ID and one of your friends takes it and tries to unlock it with your face, just say, "Hey Siri, who's phone is this?" This will shut down Face ID temporarily, forcing you to unlock with the passcode.

Fun Fact: Actually this isn't a fun fact. It's life advice. If someone tells you an inappropriate joke that makes you uncomfortable, DONT nervous laugh, because then they'll keep doing those jokes. Instead say "I don't get it." They'll be like "lol it's a joke." Say, "Ok, explain it to me." Then watch them struggle to come up with something in explanation to their inappropriate joke. Try this one if someone makes you uncomfortable. It's hilarious.

Daily Life Hack and Fun Fact!

Life Hack: To subconsciously get someone to like you more, use their name in a conversation. People LOVE hearing their names. Just... don't overuse it that's creepy.

Fun Fact: Humans are the only animals other than elephants with a chin. Don't believe me? Look it up!

Wow! That's really funny~

I think I'm gonna intentionally creep my friends out now by overusing their names in conversation and see how they react, lol.

passing notes to talk to your friends in class? nah. throwing notes as hard as you can across the classroom to tell your sworn enemy that he needs to stop being homophobic? yeah, that sounds more like it.
