Random Thoughts/Things?
I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

Hello!
I'm Kinkajou, those of you may remember me from Wings of Fire.
Alrriiiight I'm not THAT Kinkajou...but I did take her name for a SI. Its an awesome name.
I don't know about the rest of you but I'm looking forwards to WINTER! I live in a place where it doesn't snow, but we still get Christmas trees. We live right by the ocean and boy does it get cold.
Any guesses as to who i am?

There's this boy I know and once I was talking to him with some friends, and he tried making a joke but he was too flustered too and said it really quiet and kind of laughed and it was the most wholesome thing ever (in a platonic way of course).
Also, I just had a recent urged to rewatch The Parent Trap. You know, the movie with the redhead twins. I really liked it XD

You know, I was about to be all persnickety and pretentious and clarify the difference between a fabrication and and lie, but...?
My personal understanding is that a fabrication is a statement/story based on something true, just purposely twisted or carefully phrased as to omit certain facts, or to imply or flat-out include false addition information; whereas a lie is presenting completely false information as if it were true.
However, if this is the case, aren't all lies at least partially true and simply qualify as fabrications instead? Like, how can you lie about not having broke a vase: if you exist, the vase exists (and the vase is broken), then aren't all of those slivers of truth included(or implied), preventing the statement from being completely false? What about something simpler, like saying "the vase is not broken" when the vase is broken and you have knowledge of this? Again, the vase exists/has a state of being and 'broken' is a true concept, so how can this be completely false?
Does this mean that lies are inherently impossible in nature, since human brains can not generate new information, and instead have to resort to splicing past experiences/observations together in new way to 'create' anything 'new,' meaning that everything has to hold a fragment of truth, based on the past of the person telling the supposed lie? Of course, that is not to say that fabrications or false information don't exist, but it's still pretty trippy to think about. :P
TLDR: I just had an philosophical crisis about whether lies are even possible. :D

Oh, wow. That's... that's crazy. Congratualtions, you've officially blown my mind.
My captcha just said (I should get a name for it. Oooh, can someone have two captchae? [what is the plural for captcha, anyway?] I could name them after my fave words! Inkling and Pandemonium!) <<ftzar>>. Maybe you've blown their minds, too?

Heyyy, does anyone have a cool prompt/scenario I could *ahem* borrow?
I really want to write something cool but don't have any inspiration. I just need a mysterious first line or premise to get started. :P

Ugh, I'm with you. I have this rather desperate urge to write a full graphic novel series from scratch, laying out the basics of the plot then filling it in then creating characters and designing all their flaws and strengths and changes to the tiniest, tiniest insignificant detail, then narrowing down the dialogue and the structure and writing a full, wonderful script then designing the appearances and painstakingly drawing every tiny panel with precision in detail and placement, then inking then going from flat colors to all the values and shading.
Or, you know, I just wanna write anything, too.
I also have zero inspiration, but I found these:
The text message simply said, "very clever."
The pen hadn't been worth stealing
She was a stranger in a very strange land
She was beginning to realize how far down in her memories she'd buried her teenage years
Reluctantly, he handed over the key
He wanted her job, and it'd be easy enough to discredit her
Was it a knock that had woken her?
She had no intention of choosing sides 'till she was sure of who was going to win
The horse came back alone
He realized the child had seen him and he couldn't let her get away

So when I am looking for prompts, I find some of the best ones in my class quote book - they are really strange, but I actually made a whole plot line off of "Why would you steal a cat? And why would it be fake?"
Here are a few others that I think could turn into stories (well, they might be pretty strange stories, but...here they are anyway!)
"I don't trust pigeons."
"There are many ways to here me."
"I tried to create a new name for tea and ended up flooding America."
"[Insert name], why are you eating your computer?"
"I almost died twice in two days!"
"Remind me to never let [Insert name] around dead people with a sharpie if we ever have a field trip to a graveyard."
"Pigs can fly if you throw one out the window hard enough."
"The cause of death was...stupidity!"
Yeah, my class is weird - I'm gonna have to go look for the strange quotes thread now...
