Valentine's Day 2019 Stuff
Yeah. I'll be there, but I was wondering if maybe we should prep for this at all. (It's coming up quick ...) Maybe create a humongous questionaire? (B/C QUESTIONS Y'ALL)
I know that a lot of old CBers will be returning, and not all of us will know each other, though there will be old friends of course. ^^
And then do you think that we should make it a week long celebration, or just the 14th. Not all of us are in the states (Moi, Coco, and maybe Killim? Anybody remember her? Is she still here?), or may be in vastly different time zones, so I feel that there should be enough time for everybody to say hi and read and whatnot. (Though we likely would stick around for a minute anyways, but why not make it officialish?)
Should someone be designated to make the post, so that we don't have multiple threads? Or should we just hang the consequences, and visit all the threads?
So yea.
If there's a lot of people in favor of a questionaire, then I could add them all to this post as people send in suggestibles and whatnot. :)
Please send in all your advice!

@Admins, your ideas are appreciated too, I know you guys have got a busy schedule too, so your reccommendations on how far all of this should go would be wonderful.
I'm getting excited, too, Cho! The reunion date was so far away and now it's so close. I think allowing a week is good. February 14 is on a Thursday, so you all should probably stick to that for the start, then keep checking in for a week or more after that. One thread where people answer items from your suggested questionnaire as they wish sounds like a good idea to me. I'm eager to learn what CB alums are doing these days, what they're studying or how they spend their days. Are you still in Japan? Others may have good ideas for additional threads. Many of you are much more creative than I am. I do think it's a good idea to give it some advance thought.

Hi Cho! You probably don't remember me (I joined in January) but I'm glad to see you! Wow, Valentine's is so soon.
I've always envisioned a huge Valentine's Ball. I know a lot of ships have been broken up over the years. Since there are a lot of new and old AEs, maybe we can have a giant charrie sheet archive on the thread as well?

OH MY GOODNESS HI!!! You don't know me, i joined july 2017, but I've read so many old threads it feels like I know you all XD. Yeah, that all sounds good. What about a Pie War? I'd volunteer for the job of Ski Lodge owner! Even though I'm already co-writing one!

Yeah, I'm supposed to be doing school right now so this'll be short, but I love the idea of planning for Valentine's Day! I definitely think we should do a questionnaire, and have some way for new CBers to get to know the older CBers.
What about a story den, like a CB hearth, for older CBers to tell stories/reminisce on?

Miiiiiiceeeee!!!!!! How have you been? I love the idea of a story den, so long as we either stay away from speaking about wars, or if they are spoken of very carefully. They have obviously been a huge part of the CB's history, but we should be careful not to re-ignite those and mess things up for the people who are still on here. But I'd love to have the Evil's Revenge people talk about that! That would be uber cool. ^^

I can't believe the reunion is almost here. It always seemed so far off. All of the ideas are great. I especially like the idea of an AE. . . thing. Ball, thread, whatever. My AEs have not seen the light of day in a long long time, but I think I could make an exception. :) Also someone suggested a celebratory SI, which could be very cool, and also very difficult with the number of CBers you could guess. Japan is cool, though I don't like going outside most of the time because it's usually hot and humid in our area. Winter is nice, though.

I'll remake this post when other people say that they want to start a thread, or when a lot of feedback is given for a certain idea. These are the ideas that I've been hearing that are the most popular, and I want to be sure that they are made, and that multiples are not. Other threads may basically become free game and there may be multiples or similar thread during the celebrations.

These are really good ideas. I’m glad you came to visit; now that I think about it, I’m very glad we’re planning something. Oh, and I could maybe help with the ski lodge, if help is needed. I cowrote one once with Alizarine. It was hard, but fun.
