Valentine's Day 2019 Stuff
Yeah. I'll be there, but I was wondering if maybe we should prep for this at all. (It's coming up quick ...) Maybe create a humongous questionaire? (B/C QUESTIONS Y'ALL)
I know that a lot of old CBers will be returning, and not all of us will know each other, though there will be old friends of course. ^^
And then do you think that we should make it a week long celebration, or just the 14th. Not all of us are in the states (Moi, Coco, and maybe Killim? Anybody remember her? Is she still here?), or may be in vastly different time zones, so I feel that there should be enough time for everybody to say hi and read and whatnot. (Though we likely would stick around for a minute anyways, but why not make it officialish?)
Should someone be designated to make the post, so that we don't have multiple threads? Or should we just hang the consequences, and visit all the threads?
So yea.
If there's a lot of people in favor of a questionaire, then I could add them all to this post as people send in suggestibles and whatnot. :)
Please send in all your advice!

@Admins, your ideas are appreciated too, I know you guys have got a busy schedule too, so your reccommendations on how far all of this should go would be wonderful.
I'm getting excited, too, Cho! The reunion date was so far away and now it's so close. I think allowing a week is good. February 14 is on a Thursday, so you all should probably stick to that for the start, then keep checking in for a week or more after that. One thread where people answer items from your suggested questionnaire as they wish sounds like a good idea to me. I'm eager to learn what CB alums are doing these days, what they're studying or how they spend their days. Are you still in Japan? Others may have good ideas for additional threads. Many of you are much more creative than I am. I do think it's a good idea to give it some advance thought.

We have two volunteers for the announcement of next reunion, but I don't think we need two hosts, unless we combine that thread with the welcome thread (which has a list of activities, kind of like a table of contents).

Heya. Coming in from the 2012 crew.
What's the big plan? Can someone summarize? Do I need to fill this thing out? Okay.
Introduction: I'm Ruby. Hi.
What I would look like on the CB: ... I actually haven't changed my appearance since I started the CB.... I'm still as tall as I was when I was 12. Uh. My hair is short again right now. It was long for a while, but then I cut it off.
AE: Nada
Captcha: It says "ideh", which is how I feel on a daily basis, really.
How 2018 went: ... Very badly!
Life in general: It's been tough. Various different illnesses have been wreaking havoc on my life. I was in school for a while, but had to leave as I was too ill. I work part time (around 25 - 30 hours a week) as a math teacher / manager at a private learning center. That keeps me occupied most days. If I have any spare energy after work, I translate, and write from time to time. That's about it. I read, too, and exercise, but that's the extent of it all.
Favorite stuff: Hmm... I don't really have any strong likes or dislikes that I can think of at the moment...
Skills: None I'm finally bilingual and working on trilingual now, yaaay. I can translate (somewhat), and I think my teaching skills are decent.
NaNoWriMo brags: I don't do NaNo, but I'm working on something that I'd hope to be published (although as I'm quite a poor writer, I doubt such a thing shall happen). It's a story telling of Red's life and the people who came before him, in an attempt to share our unusual circumstances growing up.
What have you guys been up to? I see a number of familiar faces.
It's good to hear from you again, Ruby! I would say that being bilingual and teaching are definitely skills!

OMIGOSH! Ruby! *tackle hug* Hello! It's really good to see you. I know you don't know me much but I'm still really psyched to see you--and everyone who's been visiting!
Last year, I think, I found a thread (underneath hundreds of pages) about you and Red, from uh...*checks* 2015, explaining about you two. I read it and almost cried. So I would like to delude myself into thinking that maybe I know you a little bit?
Anyway, I'm sorry you've been sick and stuff. But I'm really glad (and I'm sure a lot of others will be too) to see you.

Hi Ruby! Wow, you were here in 2012? I didn't know the CB was even that old! I hope your feeling better and I'm sorry that 2018 was a tough on you, but I hope you have a great 2019.
Chatterbox first went live in 2008. We celebrated its 10th anniversary in June.

Hey, Ruby! No, you didn't have to fill that out it was a suggestion for later, but whatever, it's totally fine and probably very helpful for all the current CBers. What languages do you know? (I think I remember an older thread where you said that you were learning Japanese ...) And Admin is totally right, as always.

Hi, Ruby! I'm so glad to see you! I'm sorry your year wasn't great, but hopefully this one will be better. I missed you quite a bit, actually. You were the first person to make me feel welcome here. You probably don't remember this (or me, come to think of it), but we had a compliment thread and you said that I was "one of the most verbose people you'd ever met, in a good way". I can't even tell me how many times I've repeated that to myself when I doubt my writing ability. I never thanked you for that, so I'd like to do that now. You don't know how much you've helped me remind myself to be confident. Thank you.

Howdy all! I don’t recognize all the peeps here but I remember some of you! Great to see y’all! For those of you that don’t know me my name is Will, and I was a part of the 2013 crew (started at the time of the Crowd Sorcery competition. Great times xD).
CB appearance: To be honest I would say kind of an anime appearance...spiky brown hair, those cool blue manga eyes, a tee shirt, jeans, and a black jacket. That just randomly popped into my head that’s nothing like my real life appearancexD
AEs: My AE was virtually never used but he was a six foot long, two armed golden dragon who carried a pie blaster and had some snarky comment for everything xD

how has 2018 been: You know 2018 has actually been one of my best years. I made my best friends, got to reunite with some old ones, was on an archery and golf team, and biggest of all I’m graduating...*shudders* xD Anyway it’s been interesting to see how God has greatly (if all be it weirdly) directed my life in an interesting way.
Life in general: Life (like any one) has had its ups and downs but over all I’d say it’s been great.
Favorite stuff: AUGH you had to ask that...I’m into a lot of random stuff xD I love hanging out with friends, I’m big into sports (golf, martial arts, archery, all the weird ones xD), I play the piano a lot, Used to write a ton but don’t as much, and am with the Red Cross.
Skills: I’m good at golf and martial arts, am extremely social, and being 6’5” can use my refrigerator as an arm rest. Pretty much it xD
Nanowrimo brags: I know what it is and once hit my pathetically small word goal. In other words there are none LOL XD
Anyway that’s pretty much it. HI GUYS XD

AHHHH WILL OHMIGOSH HI
I’m not sure if you remember me, but I definitely remember you! It’s so great to see you around again! How’ve you been? Also, it’s super cool that you do archery. I just got into it last fall, and I don’t know a whole lot about it yet, but I love it and it’s really fun. I just got my first compound bow a few days ago, so that was very exciting. :P
On another note, it’s seriously starting to get crazy how many old CBers are returning all at once. It’s almost creepy, and a little hard to believe it wasn't planned. XD
