Chatterbox: Down to Earth

My first AE!!

My first AE!! Yayy!! I'm so exited!! So I've reviewed my questions thread and Imma gonna make one now!!!!

That might be just a few too many exclamation points.

Shush! I haven't introduced you yet! Okay, here we go. I present to you, Celeste!

Hi everybody, I'm-

Wait, what sheet? Why didn't I get to fill it out?

Personality: Curious, optimstic, enthusiatic, talkative but is a good communicator, friendly, loves the arts, impractical, sneezy, imaginitive, creative, sometimes can't focus, overthinks stuff, very emotional, easily stressed, playful, artsy, figety

Appearence: Red hair to her waist (in braid most days) , freckles, eyes the color of the sky in summer out in the country - raidiant blue, likes to wear jeans and galaxy print

Okay, I think that's it.

No, you forgot my dragon. I ride around on a dragon who I can understand perfectly. I can actually understand all animals. I love musicals, and am an amazing singer--  yes, I know. I'm a horrible singer. Sigh. *Sticks tongue out* Ha. I love fantasy, and I like to read. I'm exited to meet the other AEs!!

*flaps hand* Go on! You'll be okay!

I, um. Ah--All right.

*ahem* Hello... I hope you're recovered from your fall.

I see that the sledding is a metaphor for the way it feels to suddenly gain understanding, to encounter a wealth of information. So getting up might be forgetting and returning to ignorance? They say ignorance is bliss, so it could feel like a freeing, a floating. Forgetting what you learned. But surely the knowledge is something good and interesting, or it would be more of a fall into darkness than an exhilarating sled. Trying to get up is like trying to forget. If you mean to return into ignorance as a way of exampling how hou may suddenly discover that there is so much more to learn, you could instead peer over the edge of the bottom and see a long further slope, and then choose to hurl yourself into learning.

O-or something. I don't know.

I think the fall was more exilhirating than hurting, but I have recovered!

Your idea was interesting. I thought that each fact you learned was like a new hill to sled down. The poem was all ingorance tobbaggans into know by e e cummings. So maybe climbing up is like finding a teacher? Metaphors in poems are so fun.

Oh, that is good.

Thank you! I suppose so... *stands in awkward contemplative silence*

I confess, I do not know much of poetry.

Shy Peacock just won the poetry contest!! She's really happy, so, by defenition, so am I!! I think the CB is a good outlet. What is your favorite part of the CB, having been here longer?

Oh! Much rejoicing for Shy Peacock and for her victory!

I am not so veteran as you may think. I only made my first venture in January of this year. But I do like the beach near my shared house with Viola? and Nymph, and I enjoy Pudding's Place, to see artwork and writing of our esteemed friends.

I've seen that it's Viola?'s birthday! Tell her that I said happy birthday! When's your birthday? *is silent for a minute* *facepalms* Oh, it's probably January. Because you JUST TOLD ME THAT. *blushes*. Ack.

Well, um, since it's her birthday, I guess I'm curious, how do you pronounce her name? I know some people pronounce it vie-ola, and some people pronounce it vee-ola. I pronounce it the latter way, like "Viola-question-mark," but maybe it's pronounced as if you're asking a question. Like... hmm... in The Hunger Games, they describe it as the end of the sentance (or in this case name) goes up.

*is silent for a while, in thought*

Hey, I'd bet that's why question marks look like that! They go up and around, like the way you speak. I guess the dot means just end your sentance, or pause. And exclamation points just go straight down, like, *jerks hand down exitedly* like, BAM! This is so cool!

Laylanie says ugoz. I quite like the Wizard of Oz, hmph.

Hello, Celeste! Welcome to the CB. I'm Maia, this is Alex.

Hi.

Hi, Celeste. I'm Quirker.

annn iimm wilo!

Wait, you have a dragon? That's pretty cool.

Willow says 'tabi'. Do you want to get a tabby cat? I don't think that's the best idea.

Yeah, considering she's a bird.
