There is good literature, bad literature, and then there is fun literature, which is the cattegory Harry Potter falls into. Sure, you can read stuff Charles Dickens (who I love) sometimes but you need to read fun stuff, too. Beg some more, Emily L.!

I do read fun stuff, like Warriors, Inkheart, and I read the Series of Unfortunate Events, but he has something against Harry Potter, and it's not the magic. He says it plagerised from Ursla K. Leguin's (spelling?) Earthsea chronicles (boy goes to wizard school) and *adopts peasant accent* I dasn't beg any mah'.

OMG Earthsea ROX!!!! Yay Ged! Ghibli made a movie of it, and the author got so mad becuz the mangled it real bad and my mom says the author sued them or something. And then Ghibli mixed Ged with Howl in Howl's Moving Castle, when Howl turns into a bird. Because it's Ged that turns into a bird. Not Howl. But I don't see any relationship 'tween Earthsea and HP. I've got on a bookshelf right behind me, Tales of Earthsea, A Wizard of Earthsea, The Farthest Shore, and The Other Wind. The rest are prob'ly upstairs somewhere, I dunno. GED ROX! TEHANU ROX!! THAT KING/PRINCE DUDE ROX!! OTTER ROX!! DARKROSE AND DIAMOND AND ALL THOSE PEOPLES ROCK, TOO!!

Haha! Funny. :) You probably don't want to hear about my reaction when my parents suggested we read Harry Potter, but suffice to say it was not pretty. Now I love the books. :)

(July 9, 2009 - 12:01 pm)
She did, I remember. I wonder what she would say on the subject...

Ok, I'm not really going to be on here much for the weekend, or the following week, lots of stuff to do. I'll try to come on a little, but don't panic if I don't. :)
Ooh. I hate the heat of summer, (I know. But I don't get frozen winters most of the time) but I sure love how much fun I have... when I'm not sitting around cause it's too hot to move. :)
