I was thinking about how amazing Kyngdom is and how much it's shaped my life, and there has been a little bit of conversation surrounding it, but I wanted to let everyone know that I take the idea seriously. I say that the Kyngdom video game should be real and playable.
If anyone wants to join me and start planning this project, we can talk it over on this thread. Just jump in and discuss, don't worry about jobs yet!

Although I am not on Kyngdom myself, I have been doing stuff with voice acting recently and would LOVE to help out in this.
Also, I have been considering joining Kyngdom for a while now, but I'm not sure how to start without making a fool of myself. Help?

I think we should allow them to choose their own charracters (as in, create their own) and then that character can walk through the world of Kyngdom. They can interact with other charries that have already been made (Claaws, Icy, Alexander, Ronan, etc.) depending on what choices they make. I'm thinking gameplay would be mostly sandbox with some more railroad-y parts for the quests to find the Powers.
Also, I looked up Hype: Time Quest. I enjoyed the setting graphics, but not the character ones. I think maybe we should base character designs off of previously drawn ones by Kyngdom artists like Scylla, Viola?, Rae, Sprocket, and anyone else who has posted on the Art Thread.

Kestrel, I have some advice for you. It may not be the best advice though. I just kinda sorta jumped into the goings and joined a group (or not) and started posting on random threads. I suggest you read the Story So Far before you post anything on there.

Oh, yeah, I remember the Kyngdom compositions! They were so fun to do!
Are you actually thinking of putting this on the App Store and everything? I don't know, I only did the compositions for fun. There are a few CBers who play instruments, maybe we can collaborate.

Guys, we can dream, but untill pigs are twenty sided dice, we are never going to get this done. We don't have money, we don;t have a way to share files, and we don't have the plethera of equipment, mostly digital, we need.

First of all, there are things like Kickstarters and Ted Talks and if we had a really good idea maybe Cricket Media would give us some starting cash. Worst case scenario, we can all combine our allowances and savings. There are so many Kyngdomers, we must have at least a couple hundred.
Second, once we grow up and we become famous artists, graphic designers, writers, directors, and game designers, we'll have ways to communicate with each other. Certain people on the CB already know each other, which makes the entire project easier if they decide to pitch in. However, worst case scenario is we wait until we're adults to do this.
I actually do have a plethera of equipment; one of my folks teaches IT and enjoys fiddling with broken computers, phones, ipods, etc. But I don't know if we actually need all of the equipment. We could start by just using some really stinky programming app on an iphone, and if the game's a success we could get a bigger budget and give the game an upgrade with better graphics, gameplay, and character choices.
I understand where you're coming from Gared. This seems impossible at the moment. But soon, maybe it won't. And the sooner we begin to come up with even the faintest idea of what this game will look like, the sooner the game will actually get going.
Besides, we can dream. Right?

I like dreaming. Also, Embers/shadow, what do you mean by a couple hundred? A couple hundred dollars? If so, you are quite assuredly correct. And if the admins are okay with it, maybe everyone can join the NaNo CBers' classroom. I am uncertain about that and will yield to the admins' whim.
We encourage you to share your writing and art on the Chatterbox. We are allowed to enable users to directly contact each other.

...I'm not terribly sure I understand what you mean. Are you saying yes, we can join the classroom and message our emails to each other, or no, we should communicate here?
We aren't allowed to enable you to communicate directly with each other. We have posted NaNo usernames in the past because we deemed it a safe site. But we weren't aware of the function to contact each other directly via the stie. We can't stop anyone from joining a NaNo classroom but we won't post comments here about communicating there. If you say what you want here, within our guidelines, we will post it on Chatterbox.

I can really do whatever you guys want me to do, though I do recomend not letting me do any voices, my voice is verrrrrry high and wouldnt sound that well on Claaws for example. I could play one of the younger girls, but....thats it. Oh, and if you guys have seen the earlyer drawings I did of the Powers, we should go with that. Scylla and Icy had some really detaled descriptions in there of the Powers/Power friends, and I think the sideaffected powers arent too hard to come up with. I can also draw, but I suck at digital drawing. Oh, and script writing also sounds fun. XD I can really do whatever.
Oh and Mei.... *pulls Mei by ears, leades her to Kyndom, shows her Ayearth* YOU ABONDONED YOUR POWER!!! (SO COME BACK!!!!!)

Hmmmm.....long story short, Catastrophe = alive & taking over
Claaws = dead
And there's a new Kyngdom Resistance that fights against Catastrophe.
Regina, a guardian (there's two that co-guardian the Power of Hoof together) of the Power of Hoof, created by the Admins, has been captured by Catastrophe's forces, and they are taking up residence in her old mansion, Jökul. Or was it Jokül? Pokemon, Pokémon. Bleh.
Several new characters (well, not really new, but characters you don't know yet) are here; Alexander R, the fox anthro (Anthros are like upright animals that are human-shaped), Mina the Dolor Felis (basically like an anthro, but these are only cats), Brynn (who took Shadow's place as the angel of death. I personally think that Shadow should have it back, but I'm getting off subject), I think you know Shadow, Daisy (a cat with a diner), and...I think that's it, aside from some of Viola's characters, but I don't know her characters that well.
There's an entire new area in Kyngdom that can be seen through the admin-made posts on the main page, and, strangely, a post appeared in Power of Wing. The post was submitted by 'ArtemSeoKratted' and has no text. I think it's some kind of code, but I can't be sure.
Three powers are active as of now--Caelani, Ecio, and Ayearth. Ayearth's side-affected power (Was it Xaiou? I keep on getting the names confused, sorry Mei) is here, Whist (Sylvia's side-affected power) hasn't been seen from in a while, and Jaaws is sorta around. Aya, a phoenix, (one of Caelani's three side-affecteds) is here too. Leptomiris (a manticore; another one of Caelani's side-affecteds, who basically invented and relates to toxins and poisons) is roaming the streets of Sailhaven.
