Chatterbox: Down to Earth
Not Politics
Not Politics
Okay, so I read a bunch of the threads near the top of Down To Earth and I realized they are almost all about politics. I think we've all had enough of politics lately. So, let's talk about something else. Like, do any of you guys have pets? What books are you reading or writing? Are you a good artist? Share your best art here! This is a thread where you can talk about literally ANYTHING but politics. So I'll start off by saying I watched the Fellowship of the Ring for the first time ever recently and I LOVED IT! Has anyone else seen it? Who are your favorite characters? Also, has anyone been to the new Museum of African American History yet? I want to go so bad, but I would need either a plane ticket or a long, long car drive to get there.

I've been to the Museum of African American History because I had a school trip to D.C about 1 month ago and It's so cool! there's even an interactive floor!

I went to D.C. a few years ago, when they didn't have the Musuem of African American History. That sounds really cool though, and I loved D.C. so maybe I should convince my parents that we should go back there someday soon.

There's an INTERACTIVE FLOOR?!?!?!
(Sorry, I know I'm a bit strange, but I love learning about history, science, writing, reading, art, drama, band.... Basically everything except math. So I love museums.)
What are some of the exhibits?
Also, Dragonrider, have you read any books by Anne Mccaffrey?
(November 15, 2016 - 6:40 am)
Yeah! There are so many touchscreens on that floor! It's on the second floor! On that floor, you get to find a slave shackel, see a lot of the famous exhibits there and take part in a step dance! Also the 4th floor is the arts and sports area fill with so many cool things! But if you got tickets now, You'll have to wait next year May-ish time. I was able to get in there because it was a school trip.

Sounds awesome!

My grandparents live in D.C. so whenever we go to visit we always go see the museums. My favorite is the museum of natural history with all the cool interactive stuff! I really liked seeing the meteorites there, especially since they had all this cool uneathly desighns on them. I havnt seen the african american history ehibit however but it sounds really cool! Ive always been interested in african american history and seeing how its changed. And also noticing how crude minded our ancestors were.
Really people? Slaves? Eugh. And still today poeple make such a big deal about color :/
Thats one reson I love the CB so much. No matter our color, race or religion we stick together no matter what!
Oops, looks like Im winding down to politics, sorry:P

I have pets, all right. And I love every single one of them!
So, I obviously have mice, hence the name Micearenice. I've kept mice for almost two years now, bettering their type in hopes of someday being able to show them. I have 29 total mice, but 19 of them are babies. One of my mice has five one-week-old babies and another had 14 babies who are five or six weeks old now, ready to sell.
I also have two ferrets. Their names are P.J. and Clover, and I love them so much. They were my first pets ever (aside from some three-legged frogs I rescued from our pool a looooooong time ago) and P.J.'s 5th birthday is coming up soon! He has cancer and actually, the vet didn't expect him to live past a year. But that's a story for another time. :)
I have a gecko and a rabbit as well, and since Moonfrost and I live on a farm, we have the usual farm animals. (Sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, and two guard dogs. No cows, horses, or pigs...yet.)

You're so lucky, Mice! I have a handful of wonderful pets as well, whom I love very much. I broke down and cried when my fish died, we had such a great bond together! We live next door to a farm with sheep, chickens, cows, lambs, and guard dogs. (They haven't quite taken to me yet...) and it's really great being able to go there anytime we want. My morning are packed, though, because first I feed my dogs, then my chickens (which live across the road) then my lambs (which live across a fence) and then myself. So anyway, Ya. Pets are my favorite. It really sounds great living in a farm. And baby mice? That's so adorable! I have a Winter White Dwarf hamster, about the size of a mouse, and He's so adorable!

Cool beans!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP.
Okay, here's a subject:
how much hedge could a hedgehog hog if a hedgehog could hog hedge? My answer:5000000-2345 pounds of wood. Also, could somebody fill me in on AE drama?
(November 15, 2016 - 9:13 pm)
Mi earenice, that is so cool! I have a cat and dog :)
(November 16, 2016 - 6:45 am)
Honestly, I have no idea. Can someone fill me in to? Also, I'm thinking of creating an AE, but maybe I should wait a little bit until I've been on longer.
(November 16, 2016 - 3:50 pm)
Honestly, AE Drama has been winding down. We need to start another thread for it.
Well..
Then again, there was the Frosty x Princess Icicle mishap......
(November 17, 2016 - 9:55 am)
Did you watch the extended edition? That version of the movies is quite good. :)
(November 16, 2016 - 8:28 am)
In order!
1. Yes, a dog named Dudley, but not from the Harry Potter books.
2. I'm reading Fantastic Beasts and Where to find Them-Newt's book, not the screen play, which I desperatly want. (I'm number 42 on hold at the library!) I wrote the beggings of book set in medival times.
3. I'm not a very good artist. I can basically just draw dogs, and the occasional short-necked, lopsided human.
4. I haven't seen it, although my brother and dad love it.
5. See above, although from what I've heard, I think Arwen.
6. No, I've never been to D.C. I searched it, though, the architechture's really interesting.
Also, I don't think talking about politics is a bad thing. I just like the thread for it's mild escapism, it's nice!
