Trump Wins

. . . I don't know what to say.

. . . my mind is like these dots.

. . . spaced out and scattered and irrelevant.

. . . join me if you, too, are speechless at America.

. . . good job, Americans of 2016.

. . . just awesome.

. . . Cayke.

Then don't come onto this thread! There are plenty others.

Hey, I don't think that was very nice. We all need to be respectful, and not misuse the privelege of "...", just so that we can be mean to others.

Time for "mourning" has passed. America will come back better than ever. Complaining at this point just holds us back.

We have a right to be upset. I don't see how merely sharing our feelings is holding us back. I myself am genuinely shocked. Thank you.

Okay, I don't want to start an argument, but please people. I don't really like it when people say stuff like, "well if you don't like this then leave, mind your own business." You know I think that's the same thing a bully would tell to a bystander, right?

And so if, your friend has a different political opinion than you, you just what, don't talk to them for awhile? Abrubtly leave whenever politics somehow gets into the conversation?

So if we rob a bank, it's fine because the bystanders in there should just leave! Yeah, as long as people don't get hurt, it's fine.

Well, people are getting hurt. It's just wrong.

I think we showed our emotions enough.

Admins, I wasn't trying to compare anyone here to a bully, I just didn't know what word I should use instead.

I agree.

I was really freaked out at first, but now I agree with Daisy--it's not that bad. So I'm just going to leave this thread because I'm not letting my emotions take me over.

(Admins, please don't delete this post. I know you've been deleting nearly all of my political posts)

I haven't been deleting "nearly all" your posts. We just try to keep the comments respectful and appropriate. And we do our best to remain impartial when reviewing comments.

Ahem. I apoligize if I have percieved as a bully. What I merely meant to say was that if you are tired of the complaining about Trump, then why come on to a thread about him?

To see what our friends are saying, and to help them.

Complaining at this point simply continues to breed aggravation and resentment. It does not good. It's not "sympathizing" with each other it's just sparking further anger. And as I said previously, it's not just expressing shock. Y'all act like Trump and Trump supporters are evil and something is wrong with us.

There's a fine line between respectfully expressing feelings and just whining. One breeds understanding, the other resentment. From what I've read, that line has been smeared.

After a long in school discusussion, I am sick of politics. The conversation we had was good, and now I'm not too worried about America, but I am so sick of these divisions.

I live on the East Coast, so most of the people I know are radical liberals. That's fine, and I'm not judging them for it. I also know a lot of people who are Republican. That's fine, too.

I'm independent because I don't really agree with either party.

But I have a bit more of a Republican standpoint on local power and government size, so I am sick of hearing the people in my class say that all Republicans should just move to Texas and become farmers together.

There are a TON of highly educated Rebublicans. And the whole racist, misogynistic, white supremacy thing? That isn't the Republican party, that is a MEMBER of the Republican party.

We have Trump as president, and now we have to deal with that fact. We can make the most of this.

Hey, guys, calm down. Everything's going to be ok! I don't think Donald J Trump is as bad as he may seem! I think, though he might not make America great again, he'll at least make it better. I also feel very strongly about this subject, Riddler, and i really don't mean to offend anyone by this. I am simply stating my opinion.
