I've had enough.
I've had enough. Most of you probably haven't heard, but it was on the news today that a certain person I will not honor by naming suggested that Muslims be tested for their beliefs and deported if they believe in Sharia law. I can't express enough how this has impacted me. Anger, indignation, and disbelief are currently whirling in my mind, blocking all other thoughts. I'm sorry, but I've got to rant.
I am a citizen of the United States of America, and so is my whole family. I am aware that most likely this deportation test thing won't happen, but the very fact that it has been suggested is alarming. I mean, seriously? Have we forgotten about the injustice of Japanese internment camps? They say that Sharia law is not compatible with Western civilization, but deportation of innocent people is? I'm crying for my future children. If people are thinking such horrid things now, imagine fifteen years later. Sure, my beliefs are different from yours. But they're not violent. Walk into any mosque on Friday and you'll hear the imam (preacher) talking about how wrong ISIS is. We as Muslims despise ISIS. I have to go now, but I will continue this rant later. Again, sorry you had to read this. It just feels good to let my feelings out.

I guess this kinda shows that human beings, however much we pride ourselves in feelings, humanity, and brains, that we still do a million horrible things to our own kind for one of their people doing something horrible. (Except for those who rant about it, they don't do it.)

Ah, good questions. But never actually answered. Never addressed. Really, just suggesting 'testing' someone with their belief is almost as horrible as actually doing it.
I think it's horrible.
I don't actually have a religion. But my dad says that a good religion is one that makes people happy and doesn't have to do with killing everyone. Like, makes EVERYONE happy in that religion. I think that if a religion makes people happy and has nothing to do with killing people, then there's absolutely no reason to test them.
I get it that you have to write about it, Cayke, just reading about it made ME decide to rant about it!

This kind of stuff in the world is making me cry.
No, literally. When we were watching Zootopia and at camp and everyone was laughing at the funny parts, I was being really depressed!!!

They are connecting a bunch of crazy terrorists to an ENTIRE GROUP of people, who are, like, 95% INNOCENT!!! (BTW, I just made that number up. Apologies for innacuracy.) [I think it's over 99% innocent. Admin]
I can't put this into words. My fingers are slamming the keyboards, but I can't type fast enough. This stuff makes me too angry for words, but I will try (and fail) to express myself.
I know what it's like to be grouped with people over things I can't control.
I know what it's like to be disrespected by that person (whom I will also refuse to honor by naming) over race and religon.
I know what it's like to be treated unfairly.
In Zootopia, there was propoganda that said that "In Zootopia, anyone can be ANYTHING!!!!"
Well, guess what? You know that slogan? "Land of the free, home of the brave"?
One day, it will be different. One day, we will MAKE it true!
But for now?
The America slogan is just as false as the Zootopia one.

Oh, I loved Zootopia! It was brilliant, but I could feel every bit of racism in it. It was unsettling, but I tried to ignore it. I suppose the moral of the story is the same as in my speech--predator and prey working together to create harmony and unity. And I'd go for 99%.

I am aware that this is digressing from the present topic, Christians are fully capable of compassion towards people we disagree with and denounce. And I am also frightened for my future children. God protect us.

I'm a Christian and a guy who was an Atheist repeatedly told me (it was online, not in real life. Otherwise I probably would've punched him in the nose.) that there was "Nothing in the sky but clouds" and that he "would make sure of that."
Whoever this guy is (I don't have a TV so if it was a political figure or something...) I know he didn't say it directly to you, but still. It's way harder than what happened to me....and I can't imagine what you're feeling right now, only come a little bit close.
But there's a 99% chance that what the guy said won't happen. Ever. And if you ever meet that guy, try not to punch him in the face. Well, I'm not saying you would, but if I was you, I probably would have to restrain myself.
You don't even have to listen to whoever it was, wherever you saw it (I'm assuming TV?) because we're here for you. And we don't want to be religionist or racist or anything to you. Because you're our CAYKE! You're amazing and wonderful and don't let anybody else tell you that you're not!

Oh my cow's potatoes, I am so sorry! That is not cool! WHY MUST THERE BE SO MUCH HATE AND DISCRIMINATION IN THIS WORLD!
Ya know, we claim that America has always been the land of the free, but in reality, it could justly be called a land of oppression. Just look at Columbus. He ENSLAVED THOUSAND OF INNOCENT NATIVE AMERICANS JUST SO HE COULD GET GOLD FOR HIS COUNTRY. And yet we even have a day named after him. Wow people. Wow. And don't forget slavery! Even after it was over, we still discriminated against African Americans! Ever heard of #BlackLIvesMatter? IT MEANS WE STILL DO. Oh, and BTW, the first settlement in the "New World" was actually composed of a majority of... blacks! COME ON! Women are still usually thought of as the 'weaker sex.' Really? And now, some dislike Muslims because ISIS is composed of "Muslims" who are really hateful extremists who do not embbody anything that real Muslims believe in!
So basically, what I'm trying to say is, a lot of adults in our country have spent a long time making sure that pure, white, Christian Americans 'rule' this country. And that's not OK. First, THOSE PEOPLE ARE NOT CHRISTIANS! Christians believe in love to all, hate to none. And I believe other religons do too. We are all just trying to make this world a better place, using extreme LOVE, not extreme HATE.
My point being said, that there is a TON of hate in this world. And I'm sorry your religon is at the front end of that at this moment. I'm not Muslim (I'm Christian) but I know that Freedom of RELIGION, which is in the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, should be respected. And this person is attempting to deny you your FREEDOM OF RELIGION, which is not cool. Listen to this: NO ONE, NO MATTER WHAT RELIGION, NO MATTER WHAT RACE, NO MATTER WHAT POLITICAL OPINION, NO MATTER WAHT AGE, NO MATTER WHAT INTELLIGENCE DESERVES TO FEEL DISCRIMINATED! IT'S JUST NOT RIGHT!
But Cayke, you and your people have my prayers. I will never sit by, and let ANYBODY be treated like this.

As a side note, I would just like to say that ISIS isn't Muslim. They have never actually read the Quran, or been taught proper teachings. So, I would like to ask that you guys not refer to them as such, because, frankly, it's offensive to most Muslims. Thanks!
