Did you notice that all the countries and states you brought up have HOT climates?  The end result of Climate Change will be Global Warming, but the nature of it is the fact that hot places get colder, and cold places get hotter.

Also, if you think National Geographic "jumped on the bandwagon", what about all your sources?  I'm sure they're all anti-Climate Change.  According to everyone, no one can trust anyone about this.  So what to do?
*scoffs* I also rely on more then one source, you know.  I'm not stupid.  You're the one who seems "misinformed".  WE'RE SUPPOSED TO BE IN AN ICE AGE!!!  That may be in part the reason why WINTERS ARE GETTING COLDER!!!

*twitch* I had graphs from UAH MSU and Hadley in that post. Um... google "UN scientists global warming 1998" (that exact phrase) and click the first link. That's the page I got the graphs from. Read that article, too, while you're at it.

Not all my sources are anti-climate change. I, too, read National Geographic and have researched the issue thoroughly, both sides, for purposes of debating. You have to know both sides of an issue in order to debate properly, you know.

I have several things to say on this topic.  Number One is that people need to stop bringing up the Bible (I'm such a hypocrite).  It belongs in a different thread (which I would be totally interested in).  Two: I think global warming is real.  Whether it is a natural occurance or not, it is happening.  I'd also like to mention that global warming does not mean the whole earth will heat up.  It means the whole earth will become more temperate, which means cooler than normal summers and warmer than normal winters. Three: whether or not global warming is man-made or not, what's wrong with taking care of our planet? We can make a difference today that leads to a better tomorrow! If global warming is our excuse, so be it, but we can't keep going down this same destructive path. And now some eco-friendly tips:

1. Turn off lights (which should be compact flourescent).

2. Recycle/compost.

3. Carpool or ride the bus to school.

4. Buy an electronic book (I can't say brand-names, right?). You can store like 18,000 books in the size of one paperback, and no paper was used!

Go, Wendy! :):):) I agree with you on everything except the books -- I'm too much of a book addict... *looks ashamed*
