Chatterbox: Down to Earth
Leap Year
Leap Year
Who else is excited for this? I am! I've been doing research on why it happens, and here's some of what I've figured out: The Earth actually takes 365.2442 days to orbit the Sun, and early people noticed that the stars were out of alignment because of that extra .2442 day. So they created an extra day for when there was enough "extra bits" to make a whoke day out of! Pretty cool, right? Feel free to share your thoughts, theories, and research on this astronomical phenomenon!

Aww, thanks Scylla! That just made my whole day! (Or rather, night, as it is 10:40 right now) I'm so glad you like them! <3

I didn't have a very good leap day, unfortunately. I caught a stomach virus and spent the entire night throwing up every hour or so. Not only did I feel like crap, I also got no sleep and I'm still not feeling good at all.
@Cockleburr: I love that plant drawing! Really awesome!
