What age do
What age do people think you are?
Just out of curiosity, I decided to make a thread and ask. I'm thirteen now, and many people guess that I'm fifteen or sixteen It's nutty how many times I get that. I'm not that tall for my age, but people will often guess that I'm about three years older than I am. It doesn't really matter who - I've been told that I look sixteen by both kids my age, younger than me, and adults. I have a lot of stories that I can tell about people guessing that I was older than I am - it's getting a bit tiring.
I was wondering - what age do people guess that you are? Any interesting stories?
(Also, hi, guys! I haven't been posting a lot, and I'm generally not one of those people who make threads anyway, but my action on CB has been soming down a bit. But don't worry, I'm there, watching everything.)

I'm 11 and only 4 ft. 5 in. The thing that' sad about that is that my brother is only 8 and he's like, 3 or 4 inches shorter than me. There's also a boy in my class that's as tall as my dad, about 5 ft. 11 in.

You know I'm 10. You've thought I was 10. 10, 10, 10. People in real life sometimes mistake me for 9 but mostly everyone knows I'm 10, 10, 10.

Actually, Savvy, I (before you mentioned it) thought you were more like 11 or 12. But I know I'd think differently if I ever met any of you; I base ages usually off maturity, and of course that isn;t always the most accurate way to measure things. (Some of my classmates would be 3-6.)
Sometimes I'm called a 6th grader, but I've never really been called anything far off of my real age. Probably because most people I know don't assume, they ask. I'm honestly rather surprised, seeing as I'm 5'3". But I don't know, because I don't have quite the accurate comparison.
My friend, though, she's twelve, and she's smaller than her brother, who is 10. It's rather funny when you look at them because if you never saw her in person, you would say (or, should I say, I would say) she's more like 13 or 14. But then you look at her and you think whaaat? She's tiny! How old is this kid?!

Well, I'd like to think I'm more mature, but I'm really innocent, and that makes people think I'm younger.

People usually think I'm 13 or thereabouts. (I'm almost 16, by the way.) I'm at a camp right now, and one person in my pod thought I was going to be a sixth grader instead of a junior. Because we're in a group of rising high schoolers, people keep believing I will be a freshman. I have had people tell me on multiple occassions, "Wow, I can't believe a freshman is raising those points in discussion. You must be a genius." Then I have to explain that I am no genius, only short.
