Does anyone else just absolutely love to mentor and give advie to kids younger than you? I love it!
I'm 15, and iIve messed and done a lot of things that probably most of you more than likely haven't done, and I think that's why I love giving advice to those younger. To save them from the heartache I've been through, and to help them live their lives as Christ wants!
Soo, does anyone need help or advice on something ? (that's appropriate for the Chatterbox). There's lots of people that give great advice on the CB. So ask away!

@I'd Rather Not Say:
Wow! How old are you? Because that's really little. Just tell X you love them as a friend and you're always there for them, but you don't like like them .

On the bus a week or two ago, my friend said I was lazy. She said I never played kickball and was on here too much. She called this place stupid. She said I was on electronics too much. Does this really mean I'm lazy? Just because I'm an inside person?

Dear Lazy,
NO WAY! It is perfectly all right for you to not like going outside too much or playing sports. That's just your personality. Be yourself, but try to play a few outdoor games as well to stay healthy! BTW, I also think that a friend that calls this place stupid needs to come on here sometime! Maybe she doesn't know what it's really like.
Sincerely,
The Advisor

@Lazy?
Well, it depends on the meaning of "lazy". if she means that you're not as athletic as other kids, then it doesn't really mean you're lazy. It just means you're not really active. I play two sports, so naturally, when others don't play any sports at all it comes across as a little foreign. But only you can determine if you're lazy or not. Hey, a mile run never hurt anybody though, right? But just brush off your friend. It's okay if she has a different version of lazy than you.

How can I stop daydreaming when I'm not supposed to?
(December 12, 2014 - 2:20 pm)
@Anonymous
That's a hard one . Even I constantly find myself daydreaming about My Love . But , all you can do is TELL YOURSELF , "No , I have to stay focused" , and do so . You just have to motivate yourself! :)

Dear Vida,
I just moved, but I'm kind of shy. I can walk to junior high now, except I'm a little nervous because other kids are walking to school, too. What should I do?
Most sincerely,
Afraid in Indiana

@ Afraid in Indiana: Well, I haven't really offered advice on here, but I know what you mean about being shy. That's something I've gone through my whole life, so first off know you're not alone.
Walking to school with other kids may be an opportunity for you. I find it's easier to get to know people on casual terms where you can go up to them yourself without force or pressure. This might be a great time for you to make friends, or at least get comfortable with some. And if you aren't ready to talk or open up, that's okay too. Pretty much all my friends are people who came up to me. So you could just walk with them quietly, get to know them from a distance. Trust me, it's a LOT worse in your head than it actually is in real life. Just breathe and relax, and let people know the real you. Shyness isn't an easy thing to overcome, I know, but stress about it. You'll be fine!

*Don't stress about it. Sorry, computer glitch!

Afraid in Indiana ,
hi (: I've never moved before , but I have been new to a school before , so just BE YOURSELF . That's literally the best/only thing to do!! Reach out to someone! It is a little nerveracking at first , but once you get talking it's great (;

I have three problems:
1. There is this boy and he shall be referred to as D. Everybody keeps teasing me and D that we would be a perfect couple. He does not want to admit he likes me, and ether do I! He's really nice and we go way back, but the people who are reading me are my good friends!
2. We have to move. I am not switching schools, but, how do I say this..... I am losing my mind. We are giving my sweet cat to my uncle and I don't know what to think of it. He is super close to me, and he is really old ( 17) ! What if the stress kills him?! I can't stand new places, and I hate change. HELP!!
3. My sis is a complete brat. She's five and she : demands my attention, hurts me, calls me mean then says I am the worst sister ever then ten minutes later says I am the best because I give her a glass of pop, and just to sum it up, treats me like complete garbage. She is a bully, she says she hates our mom , and her teacher says she is saying to other kids that she hates them and does not want to play with them. I try not to flip out on her but she is a..... Jus grrr.

Dear Troubled,
I don't know about 1 and 3, but here's for two.
2. I don't really know how to explain this, but just kind of relax. It won't be that bad, most likely, and the best thing to do is stop freaking out.
I can't stand new places
I suggest you walk around a bit in what's to be your new neighborhood. Explore it, get the feel of it, hopefully discover something you like about it. If you do that, maybe it won't be so new-feeling anymore.
We are giving my sweet cat to my uncle and I don't know what to think of it. He is super close to me, and he is really old ( 17) ! What if the stress kills him?!
You could try to visit your cat. Depending on how close your uncle is, you could visit him after school every day or you could visit him every week.
Hope this helps.

Vida, this is just to ask if you mind that I gave advice to some people. I guess this was your thread so I shouldn't have said anything........
(December 15, 2014 - 2:22 pm)
Hey no , I don't mind! I usually take a couple days to get back to them anyway. And, it's always good to get a second opinion . (:
