Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Hi! I'm new

Hi! I'm new here! I'm not good at starting conversations, so . . . maybe some help would be nice. I mean, I might leave the Chatterbox, I don't know. I just have to see how friendly everyone is.

Welcome to the Chatterbox Bookbug!!! I'm Teresa! I like to dance ballet, read, write, play volleyball and cook. My favorite subjects in school are Spanish, English and math.

What do you like to do in your free time? What are your favorite subjects in school?

Anyways, we're all very friendly here on the Chatterbox, and it's a ton of fun! We write stories, play games and just talk -- well, write -- about anything under the sun! I hope you stay! If you have any questions, one of us will be happy to answer them.

*bows grandeurly* Hi, I'm Blonde Heroines Rule! I'm a certifiable nutcase, book obsessor, ski lodge murderer (on TON's ski lodge murder mystery), the thing of Barbie's nightmares, and fangirl extrordinaire! Welcome to the CB!

I'd definitely recommend hanging around awhile. Everyone here is awesome, kind, supportive, and we're all pretty much like one big family. The Admins are fantastic too, always keeping a special eye on what is said on the CB so nothing innapropriate makes it's way on, and also for our protection.

I hope you decide to stay! It's a really special community here on the CB, and you'll never find anything quite like it.

Hi, Bookbug, I'm Katie M! I'm a fangirl (actually a better word might be obsessed with) Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, Frozen, cats, and too other many things to mention! I like to write stories that I don't think are good, read, coddle my cat, post here, and read. I also am not the best at typing, so if you see a few typos in my posts, that's just me and my wonderful typing skills. Like BHR said, the CB is super fun and super safe. Hope to see you around!

Hi Bookbug, I'm Ivy! About me: I am a Merlinian, a Whovian, a Potterhead, and a Oncer, which means that I LOVE Merlin, Doctor Who, Harry Potter and Once Upon a Time.  My other favorite books and authors besides Harry Potter are Rick Riordan, Shannon Hale, Michael Scott, Jessica Day George, Diane Stanley, Anne of Green Gables, The False Prince series, and way too many more to list! I am a dancer. I do ballet, jazz, tap, and contemporary. I'm currently homeschooled, but I'm starting high school this fall. I love cats; I have two named Mouse aand Annabeth (but we call her baby because she's so small). I also love to read (obviously), write, sing, climb things, and Rubik's cube.

Welcome to the Chatterbox! I hope you stay!

Thanks for making me comfortable here, guys. To answer your question, Teresa, my favorite subject is writing (I even got published once!). I like to read, write, bike, play badminton, and surf the web.

Hi Bookbug! Welcome to the CB!

I'm Everinne, who you will often find doing some combination of the following at some time in the day: writing stories, fangirling about Lord of the Rings, reading fantasy, and quoting Olaf from Frozen, among other things like drinking iced tea to banish the summer heat. I am a self-proclaimed fangirl and like writing essays on the CB, mostly about films I've seen (I'm still slightly hurt that no one read my long long one on Thor: The Dark World). I have also made a stance not to read a single "teen" book until I'm old enough to read adult fic, but more explanation will mean a tirade, which you probably won't want to hear.

I really hope you like the Chatterbox and stick around!

@ Everinne: That's a good pact to make for yourself, I like it. I never go near the teen section either, but frankly, I doubt I ever will.

Wait, wern't you the one who liked Jessica Day George books like me? Those are usually in teen (or young adult, they are in both in my library).

BHR may like her books too, but you're probably thinking of me.

I think Princess of the Midnight Ball and its sequels are YA, but the Dragon series and the Castle Glower series are not.

I've been really curious about her books, though I haven't gotten an opportunity to read them yet, sadly. I don't get to go to the library often. Hopefully soon, though!

I've never read anything by Jessica Day George, even though I've heard a lot of good stuff about her, and she wrote a retelling of the fairy tale "East o' the Sun, West o' the Moon."

Welcome to the Chatterbox, Bookbug! Sorry most of us haven't been on. Mostly because of woop-dee-do finals. We'll be on more in the next few weeks, I should think. Anyway...

I'm Moss, aka Kyra, my real name :) My fandoms include Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Once Upon A Time, and now Avengers and X-Men. I'm also in the process of writing a book, but you know, school :P And to sum it up, I am a huge reader and love archery, cross country and climbing trees. Yup.

Please don't leave the CB! It's nice to have peeps stick around :)
