Hey guys .. been away for awhile .. not sure if anyone noticed but oh well . I'm gonna probably get on veeery little until summer , I've been really busy w. school & sports .
Anyway this is a thread for teens ! I guess I'll do it like a quiz ? Lol .

How old are you ? 14
What grade are you in ? Sophmore .. 10'th
Do you play a sport ? Yes , track .
Do you like to excercize ? Yes , I love it . It's one of the things that relieves stress . I feel like no one else matters , even if others are around , and nothing else matters , even if my world is full of chaos . Working out is MY time and it helps me focus on MY body .
Are you more sports or academic oriented ? Since this is the first year I've playeed a sport , I'd say I'm more adacemic oriented . I love reading & writing & computers ..
Do you have a job ? Yes . My parents own two businesses . One is upholstery and the other is bounce houses . I usually help my dad run the bounce house if there's an event in the square or I clean tarps .
Are your friends mostly older , younger , or the same age ? My friends are mostly older or the same age . Most of them are 15 or 16 though .
Do you have a lot of drama since becoming a teen ? Yeah , waaaaay more . A lot of it isn't even stuff I've created , it's stuff I've been drawn into .
Do you have a best friend ? Yes ! I have about 3 . Jessica , Justin , & Chelsea !
What's the best part of being over 13 ? I'd say being able to do more things & have more opportunities that my siblings don't have ..
What's the hardest part of being over 13 ? The responsibility and the drama.
Do you date ( that's an optional one , lol ) ? No . Well there's a couple reasons why .. usually I'll talk to a guy and it'll end before we even start going out .. second reason is I'm not alllowed to date yet ( still have like 2 years ) .. and because most of the guys I talk to are jerks that don't take anything serious ...
Do you have an idea of what you want to do when you graduate ? Yes I do ! I'm graduating at 16 , living at home till 18 then I'm going to go to school for either law or business !

1. I'm fourteen. (duh)
2. I'm homeschooled, so I almost couldn't say.
3. I used to when I was younger, but not anymore.
4. Not exactly, but I like taking jogs in the mornings.
5. Academic. As above, I'm not all that sporty.
6. No...unless you count writing for magazines a job.
7. I have no friends, save for you guys, so judge for yourself.
8. I had a bout of drama in a drama class (no coincidence there), but that was when I was 12. I totally asked for it though.
9. See item 7. I'm not going to choose one of you as my best friend--not very delicate.
10. The best part about being older than 13 is definitely that I'm out of the junior hight rut of being entirely too self-conscious and aware of boys. I feel like I've settled into a groove of being an older Me, but still Me, not having to try to be different.
11. I guess the problem is that I'm more aware of the preoccupation with romance, and don't really like that. In all the teen books, it seems all about romance. It's not like I have an aversion to it, I just wish it wasn't so emphasized.

13. I have no idea. I do know that I want to make a career as an author.

Nope

Same and older. Mostly older.

No more than before.
Do you have a best friend ?
Not really. I have few friends that used to consider best friends, but we really have nothing in common, so we don't really hang out as much any more. My friends that would probably be my best friends I only get to see during the summer.
What's the best part of being over 13 ?
I guess I have more freedom to do things without adults. My mom let's me walk to get lunch with friends during long rehearsals, and in the summer, sometimes we go to get icecream.

I don't know. I don't really have one.

Well, I want to go to college, but other than that, no.

How old are you ? Well, I'm still technically 12, but today's my 13th birthday and I'm turning 13 in about 4 and a half hours. So now I'm 12, but by the time you read this, I will be 13.
What grade are you in ? 7th Grade
Do you play a sport ? I do dance. I like swimming though.

1. I'm 13 (so not over 13 but I figured I'd still answer).
2. 8th, and I'm homeschooled but I'll be going to a Catholic HS next yr.
3. I don't currently play any sports, but I'm considering cross country or swim team since they're offered at my new school.
4. I love to work out! I'm big on yoga lately, about 3 or 4 times per week.
5. Academic I guess (I don't really enjoy classroom-type learning, but I'm taking algebra in 8th grade and just finished the 1st book of LOTR.)
6. No, not really, besides babysitting my siblings.
7. I have friends of all ages (my mom's friends, my little sister's friends, friends my age from youth group, friends in HS and college).
8. Not really a lot of drama, but I'm anticipating it at school. :P
9. I don't really have many close friends, but my bestie is probably my little sis (@thechocabookaholic).
10. The stuff I get to do that my (6!) little siblings miss out on.
11. The schoolwork.
12. No, mostly because no one has crushes on me (not that my parents would let me date for real, and certainly not just any old guy off the street that liked me).
13. I'm looking into natural medicine (so becoming a naturopath), mostly because I'd like to do something as a doctor without just feeding people with medications that are just band-aiding the real problem.

I did soccer in the fall, and I used to say Science Olympiad was my winter sport, but that's over now, so not at the moment, and probably not any time soon.
Do you like to excercize ?
Not that much. Just working out for it's own sake I don't like, but I do hike pretty regularly in warmer weather.

Academic. No question.

Writer while surviving public school.

Slightly younger (in between 2 and 9 months younger).

Um, I've been doing a Shakespeare class (heh heh, puns), but not really.

Yes!
What's the best part of being over 13 ?
The part about it not existing (although I am allowed to walk to the library alone, so that's good.)
What's the hardest part of being over 13 ?
At the beginning of the school year I tended to feel like I was having a nervous breakdown and nobody cared about anyone else, but now I've realized that's just middle school in general, and I've learned to ignore the crushing idiocy of the whole thing.
Do you date ( that's an optional one , lol ) ?
Nope. Nope. I mean, if there were a nice, handsome book character available, I'd be fine with it, but for some reason I always ship my book crushes with other people.
Do you have an idea of what you want to do when you graduate ?
Go to hair cutting school for a year in between high school and college, then go to college and either become a teacher or work at a museum (like a preparator/archivist of sorts). I'll also probably write constantly throughout that whole ordeal.

I have mostly younger friends since they're a year younger than me in my grade (I would be in 8th, but my parents didn't want me to be the youngest because of the cut off)

Well, according to my parents, yes. :P Which isn't really true, they just want to tease me a lot.

My friends at school (I'll use their code names) Mallow and Basil, and another friend who's in another school, Julianne (: And of course, internet friends on here and writing places.

An author! I'm working on New York Times Bestselling... even though many doubt.
