THE ASK ADMIN THREAD!!!!!!
Ok, so there are tons of threads made to ask Admin a particular question. I thought: why doesn't someone just make ONE thread for ALL the questions? So, here it is!
My first question: Can't the Admins make some sort of search thing inside this website so that we can look for a certain thread? Because I was going to revive several, and they got stuck somewhere between the page they were on and the first page. I don't really feel like looking through all the pages again...

Our Webmaster knows that a Search function has been requested, but we are a small staff with many other things to do to publish all our magazines and maintain all our Web sites. It's unlikely we'll get to a Search engine anytime soon, if ever. I think a few years ago a Chatterboxer figured out how to search via Google with Cricket Chatterbox plus a specific theme in the search field. I don't know if that would still work now because there are many more threads on Chatterbox, and many with similar themes, that there were two years ago. I'm sorry we can't be more encouraging about this.

re: Searching for threads: In google, type in Cricketmagkids + chatterbox + [whatever section i.e. BaB] + whatever topic thing you're looking for. So if I'm searching for this thread, I'd type in Cricketmagkids + chatterbox + chirp at cricket + Ask Admin thread. ;)

No. Two live in the Chicago area and one in more central Illinois.

Are the Admins volunteers or do they get paid?
We're paid. Administering Chatterbox is only one part of our job for Carus Publishing. We do various things for several of the magazines.

Admin, is there a way to attach pics to posts?
Yes, some people do it, but I'm not sure exactly how. However, we don't post photos of people, and any pictures you send should be your own work. We don't have permission to post works by others. Another Chatterboxer can probably tell you how. I think you have to post it someplace else, then copy and paste. But I'm not sure about that.

No-one knows what causes it, but we know where it goes: usually the last page, although occasionally, it's the second-to-last instead.

Some sort of chat thingy has been mentioned, like instant messaging on the Chatterbox. What is that exactly?
I think we called it Instant Chat or something like that. We would announce a few days in advance a specific timespan when Admin would be online posting comments. Whoever logged on then and submitted a comment could have receive an almost instant reply from whoever cared to respond. It was, however, hard to find one time when most people could log on due to different time zones, school activities, lessons, meals, etc. So they were never highly populated.
