Οh, the queue is the comments waiting to be posted?  Then we must be talking about different things... we can't see the queue (that is such a funny word).  We can only see a poster's age and location once the comment shows up on the thread.  When we said the queue I think we meant... well, actually, I gave an example earlier... anyway... so if we click on (ie) the BaB link on the left here, at least the left for us, we can see the name and age of the person who initiated a thread, and just the name of the last person to respond to it.  I don't think we can see the location until we go to the thread, and then not until the comment is posted (by you, that is).  It's possible that there's a way to see it beforehand, but I've never looked for it, and I rather doubt there's a different way for us to get to the (ie) BaB to see that.  My (humble?) opinion is that the location thread was very fun to put funny locations in, and I miss having it as long, but if you think this is better, (maybe so people will post their real locations!) then there isn't much I can do about it.  :/  Plus, @otherChatterboxers, there also isn't much point getting mad about it.
