Location Thread!
This is the Location Thread where you post in the "location" box! You pretty much post a short sentence in this box, and then you post your main post in the "location" box above this box!!! Have fun!!

Awesome idea, PP!

For no other reason than to make this post appear because otherwise there would be no point in posting it, Spammy says "fniy". Whatever that means.

Great thread! I have an idea! What if you have to post what spammy says in the text box?
Ordi says: zwcp??/

At first I thought we would all tell everyone where we live here so that we could find out if any of the buggies live real close to each other. xD

Wait, Weissnichtwo lacks definite location, so how can I know what planet it's from? Ah, well, it's a large world compared to its inhabitants, especially the small ones like tardigrades, so I think I'm safe. I just won't tell you where on PT I am, though some of you know already. Planet Terra, by the way, is in Sol System, Milky Way Galaxy, Unnamed Universe, the Multiverse--and Weissnichtwo is looking less vague every second... Maybe Weissnichtwo is a land apart from the physical realm. It's like when Laura says her location is Lalaland, but she lives in Southern California, too. Or was that Adina with New Jersey? I don't remember. Oh, well. It's irrelevant. I think I mean the same thing as them. It's really cool, because I don't have the same physical location as Luna Lovegood, but I have the same mental location, so I get to visit her in my mind whenever I want. Same with either Laura or Adina or possibly both. Oh, and Jen, since she's from Nowhere, which is more or less the same thing. I don't like the phrase 'more or less,' though, because everything is either more or less than something. I didn't understand it at all when I first heard it. That happens often, actually, since I'm so literal-minded.

I'm whiling away my hours dreaming of fabric and my sewing machine and the kimono sleeved pattern upstairs that I started... I wish I was sewing... then again, I always wish that. What do you wish you were doing right now? Spammy says orcm. Orcm? ORCS! Spammy's in trouble, we have to save him from the disgusting drooling half-rotted orc thingies! Awgh. I put the wrong thing in the field. Now it says eure. Eure?? Eure what? Eure nose is dripping, Spammy, wipe it.
You don't even have to put anything here.

The admins don't know which thread the comment their moderating is on unless they check, so they don't know that this is the thread for posting your main post in your location, so they moved most of our posts to the main bit. We should let them know when we're on this thread, then. Admin, I'm currently on the location thread, so I meant to put everything here.
We'll have to consider this. "Location" is supposed to be just that, not a long string of information. What is the point? So you can see all the text before we post it?

@ Admin: Well, this thread was probably made because people thought it was fun for some reason (It's hard to explain), and I enjoy it because I get to ramble about my location and get off-topic there. Also, it would look interesting if the main bit of a post were blank, so I wanted to try it.
Aetc says prum! A prim plum!

Well, I started this thread because I saw Oregano and some other people posting in the location box and I kind of got caught up in it, too. It is sort of fun. :-) Anyways, I thought it might be nice if we had a thread to post in the location box, so that's how this all got started. And, no, the point isn't to see what everyone wrote before it is posted (and anyways, that wouldn't work because it is way too long), it's pretty much just for fun. We can stop if you Admins think it's too confusing or something like that. I won't hold any hurt feelings. :-)
Yes, we are stopping it. We need to be review comments before they are posted to be read by all. Our Webmaster has just limited the length of the Location field.

Anyway, I don't think anyone can see the location just from the homepage (ie, CaC, DtE, Inkwell, etc). The location field doesn't show up there. Unless this computer is unusual.
(May 18, 2011 - 7:28 pm)
HEY!!!
I am the one who started this, and I am sorry, and I did not know that it would grow into this big thing, but I do think that a) You could be a little nicer about it and b)I like posting in the Location thing, not extravagantly, but I like writing and reading Locations that make me laugh, for instance, there was a girl named Willa who used to post Location: "In the aquatic computer room under the trapdoor--it's very wet down here" or something like that, and I liked that. It obviously doesn't fit anymore, because your Webmaster limited the character count of the "Location" box. I am sorry if I sound pushy and rude, but I honestly don't care. The "Location" box was one of the main reasons that I posted. Call it stupid, foolish, and dumb if you like, but it was. *Deep breath*
Again, I am sorry that I started this, and I am sorry for the incomprehensible rant, but you made me angry. I am not sure if I will post anymore.
You can post a longer location in the regular text box. That's where it's easier for us to review.

The location box doesn't show up before the comment is posted on my computer, either. I wasn't even sure what you meant until now. I really don't think it works that way at all.
I think it does if you go to the queue.
Admin
(May 18, 2011 - 8:25 pm)
@Admin - Which queue is that? Like if you click on, say, Inkwell at the left side of the page? Then you mean it takes you to the queue? Because the stuff in the location field doesn't show up there. At least not for me.
Spammy says niiw. Do you mean new, Spammy?
I don't know, Oregano. Our Webmaster had the impression that it shows somewhere. We Admins see things differently than you do when we log on as administrators.

No, it doesn't. Only the name and age do.
