Yes, it's quite... unusual; that's for sure. I don't think it's really a good idea, but each to his own, I suppose.
Detc says typh and grfd! Typhus graffitied? Someone with typhus drew graffiti?! That's terrible.

I've actually heard of 2nd graders at my friend's school dating which is really sad. I have a crush, but it's not like I want to date him now or anything. Even if I do want to date him I would totally wait till I'm like 18.

Gack, It's so weird when little kids are trying to date people. They're not old enough! I used to have a friend named Kaylie who wanted to date three different boys in 2nd grade... she moved to Idaho. I kind of do wish boys posted here more often, though. Some of them are weird and don't care about anything but video games and... I dunno, other weird stuff. But some boys can be really nice, especially ones who are nerds like me. :)

I agree. I find it easier to talk to boys, actually, because for some reason the ones in my area seem much more likely to like the same kinds of books as me, and I've little else to really talk about with normal people.

I wouldn't wait till I'm eighteen. Maybe, sixteen or so. I just don't get the point. Girls/boys can have boy/girl FRIENDS, like best friends. It always becomes this big "Are you in love?" or "Admit it! He's your crush!" or "Has he asked you on a date?" thing. And I mean we're all kids. Second grader! AHHH!! I had kindergarteners in my class with "boyfriends".

Hee hee, I'm one of the old-timers. :) And yeah I'm 16 now... and I've never had a boyfriend... I can never be sure whether or not that's normal. It differs depending on who you're with. I definitely don't feel like I need one.

My friend dated in 3rd grade. XP
But she has a boyfriend now, and I don't think it's weird to date at 13! I have a crush, and if he asked me out I'd say yes. Also, last year my guy friend asked me out... now that was akward.
O.o

If I try to talk to a boy in my class they usually say something perverted or look at you funny. I like boys who are quiet and normal. I can't stand the ones that think they're so overly cool. Sadly, that's all my class is made up of...

I used to be great friends with a bunch of boys I sat next to in 4th grade. They were smart and really funny, and seemed to like the same kinds of things I did, like reading and making things with rubber bands & paper clips. When I told my friends about that (not a lot of them were in my class) they thought I was totally insane. Now, of course, all the boys in my class are stupid and weird. There are about two that aren't, and that's a pretty small percentage out of about 30 kids.

Wow, Alexandra, I can relate to that. I stopped inviting boys to parties after second grade. They go all crazy in their heads. I've heard it changes in ninth or something...

Boys never change. They are crazy, and that's why we love them. Not love like lovey dovey stuff, love like you love your brother kind of love. That sounds dumb, though doesn't it? :)
