N.Y.C.!!! :) Hey
N.Y.C.!!! :) Hey everybuggy! I might not post a lot this week, because I'll be in New York City!!! I am so excited to explore! :) Have any of you been there before? If so, have any suggestions of fun places to check out? :) If you guys want, I'll try and post some NY pictures next week, (Don't worry Admin, I won't post any pictures with people in them! :) ). I hope to make a post about photography soon, I love taking photos! :) Well, talk to everybuggy later! :)
(Admin, just wondering, I made a 4th of July post on Sunday, and I can't find it anywhere! Have you seen it? :) )
I do remember posting one or more comments from you sometime over the weekend, but the days are sort of blurred together.
I visited NYC with my family when I was 8 years old--a long time ago! I remember visiting the Statue of Liberty and seeing a show with the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall. Maybe you can gather with the crowd for one of the morning TV shows: Today, Good Morning, America, or CBS's The Morning Show. We were in the audience for an old quiz show and also saw a Broadway musical. We ate at The Automat, but I don't know if that's still in business. And we went to Coney Island!I remember riding the Steeplechase ride. Have fun and let us know what you do!

Awesome Admin, thanks! :) I know we're going to see the Statue of Liberty, (not sure if we'll go inside.) go to Coney Island & stand with the crowd for a morning TV show. I don't think we'll be seeing a musical. I can't wait!!! :)

Awesome pics, Kimmie! I'm going to NYC soon with my choir - we'll be singing at Carnegie Hall. I'm really psyched! I haven't been there since I was really, really little. And I don't remember anything from that trip, either, so it'll be like my first time in NYC!

Wow--Carnegie Hall! Congratulations! Tell us all about your trip when you get back.

Yep! I'm really excited! The trip is February 25-28. I'll make a thread about it at that time and let you know how it went. We get to see a Broadway musical and sightsee and do lots of fun things while we're there!

I just visited NYC recently with my family, and I loved it! The only sad part was to see so many homeless in the parks and on benches. It just goes to show what the world is like.
I visited the Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island. At Ellis Island, we found my grandma's relatives on the wall of people who donated to the island. It was pretty cool! I didn't get to see anybody famous, like the cast of the popular TV show on TLC, What Not To Wear, but we did get to go to a Toys 'R' Us with escalators and three floors, and at Walgreens we rode escalators. Since I live a semi-small town, NYC is very different than what I'm used to. But i did enjoy it all very much!

WOW, that's really cool Rachel! :) Yeah, we saw lots of homeless people too. :( Also, the garbage cans were usually overloaded with garbage! All of those places sounds really cool! I bet NYC seemed huge since you're friom a smaller town. :)
