Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Flezzip! Ozore!

Flezzip! Ozore!

Now that I've got your attention :), I shall proceed.

I can't remember for the life of me what these things are called, but it's like you make up a name that sounds like something else. A popular one is "Isabell Ringing."

They're really quite entertaining to make up. Here are a few I've done:

Telmi Alai

Atro Shuss

Sendussa Kardd

Bea Neiss

Eta Bitmoore

It's hard to think of ones with actual first names!

Those are super fun!!!  Nice thread!

This name is a bit overused, but I like it:

Justin Case

So the book would be: Locking Up the House by Justin Case

This next one, I didn't come up with, I actually memorized it from when I read "Highlights" the mag.  Anyway, here are the books:

A Walk in the Woods by Hugo First

How to Clean Your Room by Mae K. Mess

(The last one was ironic, but fun.)

Now for made up ones:

How I Crossed the Atlantic by Taka Plain  (the a in the first name is long as in fake or main)

The Everyday Cookbook by Pasda Peppa

Escaping Authority by Skeeda Til

Sorry my made up ones were really bad, but they're pretty good for making them up on the spot, I guess.  Just ask if they don't make sense.

Spamboy says, "aaap."  Funny, though I'll let someone else translate it.

Typo. He tried to say "asap." He wants you to do something ASAP. Like someone said on CJ's SI thread, he's only 4!

These are so fun, though mine are not so good again.  The first two titles are bad and the last author is bad.  Ah well, it's the thought that counts.
