Flezzip! Ozore!
Now that I've got your attention :), I shall proceed.
I can't remember for the life of me what these things are called, but it's like you make up a name that sounds like something else. A popular one is "Isabell Ringing."
They're really quite entertaining to make up. Here are a few I've done:
Telmi Alai
Atro Shuss
Sendussa Kardd
Bea Neiss
Eta Bitmoore
It's hard to think of ones with actual first names!

Ima Bookworm! Sort of...
Anyway, this reminds me of something else. A distant ancestor of mine's first and middle initials were I.M., and his last name was an adjective. I don't want to tell you what it is, so I'll just say it's Good, even though I promise that wasn't his last name. Well, he had his first 2 initials and last name painted on his car, so that it said, "I. M. 'Good'". But he didn't have the 2 periods there, so some vandal added an apostrophe, so that it said, "I'm Good"! (I know that's improper grammar, both times, but otherwise it would look like the end punctuation was on his car). I'm told he was quite angry. Even though his last name wasn't Good, it was a very positive adjective, and it looked like he was bragging. (I chose Good on purpose so that it would have the same effect his real name would).
Para Normal! (You wouldn't believe how many options there are starting with Para, but that's all I'm doing).
Abigail! (Abby gale).
None of those are very good, but it was the best I could do.

Or, alternately, you can come up with book titles and the name of somebody to write them. As in: Gardening, by Rose Bush, or
Peacocks, by Pritt E. Birdd. I love those. Can you think of any others?
(April 17, 2010 - 6:30 pm)
Here's one to go with Telmi Alai. Telmetha Truthe!
Yes, it's also fun to do them as "books never written" like ZNZ's. I like the Pritt E. Birdd one, that's hilarious.

Are these "Books never written"? I think that's what they're called. Like Guide to Automobiles by Iona Ferrari and How to Sweep the Floor by Dustin Cracks (I know, they're lame).
(April 23, 2010 - 9:06 am)
Hahaha, I actually like yours a lot, MJ. "Iona Ferrari"...That's great.
I can't ever think of ones with actual first names, they all have to be modified words... Yours are good though. :)
(April 23, 2010 - 1:36 pm)
@ Brynne-Thank you! I didn't make up "Iona Ferrari." I read it in my brother's Boys Life magazine (yes, I read Boys Life). I made up the "Dustin Cracks" one which I sent in Boys Life and it was actually published in the joke section of the magazine with my name under it. Wow. What an achievment :P
(April 24, 2010 - 8:54 am)
Oh, yes, I read Boy's Life sometimes too, whenever I *babysit* these boys from our church who are actually about old enough to stay home by themselves. They always have that lying around at their house.
(April 25, 2010 - 3:03 pm)
Wow! Congratulations, I think you're probably the first girl ever to have that happen!
I used to read Boys' Life, when my brother had a subscription. When he quit, I didn't want it quite enough to order my own subscription, so I've never read on since.
