We-ell, as you
Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket
We-ell, as you
We-ell, as you all probably know, a while ago we had a thread for quotes ((*thinks: Hey! Joe Moses/Snape! Stop reading my post over aloud, it's very distracting"*)).
Rather than resurrect the old one *again*, I'm just going to make a new one because I'm lazy like that. Silence your sniggering!
Well. Right. Quotes! Anything and everything! Wee!

"Hello, sick people and their loved ones. In the interest of saving time and avoiding a lot of boring conversations later, I'm Dr. Gregory House. You can call me Greg. I'm one of three doctors staffing this clinic this morning."
"Short, sweet, grab a file."
"This little ray of sunshine is Dr. Lisa Cuddy. Dr. Cuddy runs the entire hospital, so she's much too busy for all of you. I am a bored... certified diagnostician with a double specialty of infectious disease and nephrology. I am also the only doctor employed at this hospital who is here against his will.
[to Cuddy] That is true, isn't it?
So. Who wants me?"
~House. Speaking of which, what did they do to his hair for the upcoming season?! Did they seriously cut it?!

Oh, thanks!
spam: xray !
(February 28, 2010 - 2:23 pm)
And I made 101! Anyhoo, yeah, you're right, it was PoA, and they were talking about the Firebolt, after Hermionie turns them in.
OK, guess this one!
"Oh, just as long as it takes for the message to sink in."
Muwhahaha!
Andy says ughp. Ugh? What's the matter, Andy?

Book 5, OotP, during Harry's first detention with Umbridge -- writing lines with the quill that writes with his own blood.
Harry: How many lines do I write? ((or something to that effect))
Umbridge: Oh, just as long as it takes for the message to sink in.

Easy! That's when Dolores makes Harry write with the quill that uses his own blood.
Guess this one... "The Baron was always a hot tempered man..."
(March 1, 2010 - 10:01 am)
More HP...Baron, of course, referring to the Bloody Baron. Is it Helena Ravenclaw in DH?

So I just rewatched AVPM (and realized that all of my quotes from it are off) and it was good. I actually got to see the end this time. I'm wondering, though, what the **** (that was to make a point) is with all the swearing?? That put a damper on some of the enjoyability of it for me. Perhaps other people are not as bothered, but I think the quality would be improved if they would at least cut down on the constant swearing. For those other fans out there, they are planning a sequel to be released this summer.

Oh, you guys are too good at this! OK, guess this one. I'll give you a hint: It's not HP.
"Mum? Da?"
You'll never guess. NEVER! Mwhahahahaha!
Oh, and it is Helena Ravenclaw.
Andy says icop. I cop. Is this your new profession, Andy? But you're my anti-spam thing! What would I do without you to help me see whether or not I am an automated spam message?

...Guardians of Ga'Hoole? Orphan Train Adventures? Water Street?
(March 2, 2010 - 6:43 pm)
Wolfgirl, thou art not an automated spam message. I can't guess that. And here I was feeling quite the quote guesser, too... :P
(March 2, 2010 - 6:53 pm)
@ZNZ: Thanks.
It is Guardians of Ga'Hoole! The first book! Argh...
"If a person knows who he is, really knows, then he doesn't need to hate."
Again, not HP. No offense, but sometimes HP is a little easy to guess. For us huge fans, anyways...
Andy says kawi. Did you mean kiwi? That's great that you have some fruit, but we really need to talk about your spelling. And what's this about you being a cop? (Yes, I know, I sound like Andy's mother. :P I don't care.)

i have a quote! "Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today." by James Dean
(March 3, 2010 - 7:35 pm)
One two, one two, and through and through, his vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with it's head, he went gallumphing back!
I'm obsessed with that poem!!! It's so great!! One of my absolute favs, as gory as it is. :D
(March 4, 2010 - 12:00 am)
Oh, my friend Miles did that as a monologue for the Aladdin auditions back in November!
(March 4, 2010 - 10:45 am)
Cool!!! It's a great ol' piece.......
