Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Suggestion Box
Hey, kids,
The Cricket Web site has been up for several months now, and everybuggy would like to know what you think about it. What do you like best about the site? Do you have any suggestions for making it better? How do you think the Web site rates on a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being the best)? Do you like the different areas of the Chatterbox? How do you think the Chatterbox rates compared to the Letterbox printed in the magazine? Do you like the online contests and Cricket Readers Recommend? Do you think kids new to Cricket would like the Web site?
Thanks for your ideas!
Love,
Everybuggy

It would, but it would also be difficult for the administrators to moniter. I mean, we could have a rule, like no humans, but still, it would be hard... Sigh... I guess that my friends will never get to see Bob and Alice... (oh yeah, my real pets, too!)

Yes, indeed. I look forward to Cricket every month and removing three issues (and leaving it at the same price, for heaven's sake) was just entirely ridiculous. Stupid decision. And this website needs a direct link to the Chatterbox on the front page. Out of ten? 7 or 8.

I'm relatively new and already I love this website! I also think it would be cool to have a Chatterbox section called "Meet Everybuggy!" because with so many people replying to threads, it gets confusing sometimes. But Chatterbox is awesome!!!! I'm addicted!!!!! :)

Oh, I have another idea!! Maybe some type of search engine, so if you were looking for posts on specific topics you could just type it in instead of sorting through every post!! :):)

Oh!:D:D:D THAT would be cool!:D:D:D

Yes! Like if there was a search engine on Blab About Books, then you would just type in the name of the book. I love it!

Very correct. I am thinking the same thing... come on Cricket! I look for posts and have to dig through maybe eight pages of threads. So...

Er, I think that you should add a place where people can send in letters. *coughcoughbecauseIhaveonecoughcough* Hehe, cold. *pies self*

I think you should let people put on the names of web site links. If someone would like information on a certain subject, others who know something about it should be able to suggest links.

There is a wonderful thing that everybuggy knows about called Google. ;)
(December 1, 2008 - 9:06 pm)
Yes, I know, but Google isn't very specific. I tried googling "peta list cruelty-free products", but didn't get what I wanted. And you don't have to be so sarcastic...

Maybe you could have a chatterbox section where people can write in about problems they have so other people can help them. Sorry that wasn't very clear, but I hope you know what I mean.

OOooh!! I like that!! I might (really, just might) be an advice column writer someday, so I'd LOVE to help!! Of course, we could just make a thread for that, ourselves.... ;)

I havn't gone on to the chetterbox in a while because I have been really busy but over thanksgiving break I plan to be on more often.
I think that the website is awesome!!! I like the idea about only sending messages to certain pople!!! The new smiley faces are awesome. I think that kids who don't even read Cricket would like this site because they could make new friends lke I have.
I like how you have letters instead of math probs now!!!

Oh, I just had an idea of how the Chatterbox could be better. Sometimes it's really hard to find a thread after I have posted on it, so maybe you could have a section, like Your Threads, or something that had all the ones you had posted on recently. Also, even though the idea of certain people only reading your post, 1) It would make people feel left out, and 2) people might log on under one of the names it was restricted to just to read it.
