This post didn't really have anything to do with me, at all, but I'm going to write my thoughts on it anyways because I thought it was beautifully written.
It warms my heart to see you trying to understand this sort of thing. LGBTQ is misunderstood and hated by many, yet many refuse to even see where LGBTQ people are coming from. I was raised in full support of LGBTQ, for which I am thankful. I am lucky to have been raised being taught to see the good in all people, and taught that there is no reason for anyone to discriminate against anyone--religious reasons or otherwise.
I don't think there's anything in the post you need to apologize for. While our beliefs may not align, you were very respectful and kind and I didn't feel hurt or offended in the slightest. I'm thankful that, even if you don't agree, you are trying your best to understand and be kind.
I myself admit that I do not understand much about the anti-LGBTQ religious beliefs. I know that I should try to do a better job of understanding where people who believe that sort of thing come from. After all, it is best to understand both sides of an issue, even if you only believe in one. I wasn't exposed to very much religion growing up--neither of my parents were very religious, nor was really anyone in my family. But even if I don't believe in most religious theories and such, I feel that it is important I try to understand those beliefs, at the very least.
Well, that was an obnoxiously long way to say 'thanks for not being mean'. Oops.

Thank you for your comment, Joan. It was very nice and respectful and you have nothing to apologize for.
I guess I wasn't super clear. I don't think anyone on the CB hates anyone else for their romantic feelings. Some people may disagree or feel a little uncomfortable but I don't think anyone would be mean or show hatred towards anyone else on here. There are people in the world who do hate and I think that is mostly what I was talking about. Everyone on the CB is amazing and kind.
I don't understand much about anti-LGBTQ+ beliefs or the religious aspect of it because I'm not religious. I know that your religion does not mean that you are homophobic and that everyone has different beliefs. I hope I didn't say anything wrong or offend anyone.
I'm proud of you for doing your best to understand and support. And speaking up about my comment. I wasn't super clear and I apolgize for that. Again, thank you for being very respectful and considerate.
Happy Pride Month, everyone. <3

Happy Pride month! This is an AMAZING thread. So many things that have been written here have really touched me. And yeah, I know a lot of people have said this, but I'm going to say it again:
You are valid, no matter what.
You are loved.
You are allowed to and deserve to love whoever you wish to.
Love is love, no matter what.
Feel good about yourself, because you're awesome.
Okay that's all. I love all of you CBers and the CB so much! (Even though I've never met you irl, you seem like great people!)

Ooh, what anime is he from? I tend to crush on at least one character in everything I watch, and I can confirm that anime boys are high tier. Also anime girls, when they get written properly.

Happy Pride Month. I wish I could celebrate in marches and stuff, but I can't sadly, so maybe this is the next best thing.
Happy happy happy happy happy pride month to all and anybody. Stay cool, awesome, and proud. I mean, isn't that the point of Pride?

Happy Pride! Featuring my gay babies :)
Kudos if you know what the colors mean without looking them up.
(June 10, 2020 - 1:01 am)
Well, the one on the right is trans, and the other one is...aromantic? I think?
(June 10, 2020 - 9:37 am)
Close! Yellow, white, purple, and black are actually the non-binary colors.
(June 10, 2020 - 1:43 pm)
Oh yeah, black, white, green, and orange are the aromantic colors. Not quite sure how I mixed that one up.
(June 10, 2020 - 6:16 pm)
Aw that's ok! Honestly sometimes I mix up the colors of some of the flags too haha.
(June 14, 2020 - 1:23 am)
Wait, orange? I thought it was black, gray, white, and two shades of green.
(June 14, 2020 - 3:50 am)
Happy pride y'all!
(June 10, 2020 - 11:51 am)
I just learnt about Pride Month and I love everything about it! Happy Pride everyone, stay awesome :)
(P.S. I have a crush on an anime boy. Don't think that counts for anything in Pride, but I thought I'd just put it out there)

Hey, I'm back again! Time for an art dump. I've been doing basically Inktober but in June and also everything's pride flag colors.
Also, admins, I've heard some posts on this thread aren't going through--mind if I ask about your take on that?
Mexi says ekyaw, which I choose to interpret as heck yeah!
Chatterbox limits personal discussion on some subject.
