OH, I guess it's a good story for Halloween! It was a cool dark October night . . . . Our neighborhood was having a block party. When it was time for dessert, I hurried home then back with a half gallon of Blue Moon ice cream. I'd seen Blue Moon flavor when on vacation in Wisconsin, but never in Illinois, where I live, until just a few weeks before the party. So I was excited to share it with the neighborhood.

I put it on the buffet table, then hurried across the yard to tell some friends that I'd just put it out and to come quick to get some before it was all gone. As I said, it was dark, and in my haste I tripped over a wooden beanbag toss game and fell, gashing my leg and breaking my right wrist. And I'm righthanded. So I blame my misfortune on the Blue Moon and have never bought it again. But I did learn to be more careful to watch where I am going!

This thread is a good idea but...I don't know if I'm going to be participating, because it might just be too painful for me. Those who know me know that I really struggle with nostalgia, and a thread like this might bring up too many memories.

I've been on here since I was 12, so I've seen a lot of changes. RPs used to be longer, and solo writes were the newest fad, and let's see...what else...the main age of CBers was older. There were about a handful of regular posters, and then there were a few CBers who showed up occasionally, and a few more older CBers who posted around their busy schedules, but those few core CBers were about the ages of...12-15? Maybe 11-15?

I’d say the biggest crowd of CBers range now from ages 12-13.

Hi coyotedomino! I'm Claaws! Ya, I left during one of the LGBTQ+ arguments (believe me there was a lot) and wow, I didn't knows how much you all looked up to me. I should start being a better role model! *lifts chin* *somehow trips on nothing and falls loudly* um, ignore that.....

Uh, I started probably almost two years ago, but just on Kyndom at first. I think I joined around the same time as Leeli possibly Scylla (I really don't remember that much from back then) but I do know Icy and KG joined like a half a year after me. That part I remember. ;) also, I almost kept Spirit animals running for about a year BEFORE YOU ALL LET IT DIE. *snorts loudly* But I did really like that RP.....if anyone wants to do a spinoff......

Me and you both, Leafy. However, I do think that it is important that the younger CBrs know who was here back in, 2015? 14? I joined about two years ago, and there were so many special people there back then. *sigh* Anywho here’s a list.

OHMYGOODNESSGRACIOUSGRAVY! You mentioned me! Now I feel like I should be more active on the CB. You've inspired me! I'm going to post on 4 threads.

Anyway, enough freaking out about myself. 

CB History Question: I hope this doesn't spark any controversy, but can someone tell me about the invention of AEs?

I figured this was a good a place to ask this as any place... what happened to Air?

Does anyone remember them? Air was a CBer about 2, maybe 3 years back. I met her, had an epic conversation with her, dorked around on here for a few days and then left. When I came back a while later, about 1 year ago now, they were gone. Poof. Just like that. I tried the google search trick, looking for a goodbye thread or name change, but I couldn't find anything. Does anyone know what happened? I've always just sort of wondered. They were really nice, and the first person (and kinda the only person) to welcome me to the CB. Now that I'm here regularly, I was was thinking of them.

PS I keep saying "them" and "they" instead of "she" or "he" because I don't know their gender. But I just wanted to clarify, because it made Air sound like an all-knowing being or something. 

I remember Air, but I don't remember any goodbye thread or name change. It's hard for me to keep track of everyone.
