Ansestory! Where are
Ansestory! Where are you all from? Who are you descended from?
This is an interesting topic (as you can tell I was watching one of those commercials about finding out your ancestors (and another big word that starts with an h that I forget)) and I want to know where you all are from, or if you have any interesting ancestors? Admins you too!
Here's me! I'm mostly Russain, but also part Italian and Scottish (Irelandish?)! Oh, and apparently im also Eurasian Jew, which is a race people, and that's where all my medical problems come from. And probably something else in there, or a few somethings. Oh and I'm also.....100% 'mer'can!
Some famous ancestors.....
My great great something greats step granduncle was Howard Hughes! The guy who flew a very big plane a mile!
And my grandpa claims that I'm related to the second president, John Adams, I think. Also like the twenty fith removed cousin of Barack Obama, but I'm not sure if he's telling the truth or not.
Your turn!

Hey! I'm also very distantly related to Obama! Cool! My mom went to the same school as him, but he was a few years older, so she never met him.
I'm a quarter Chinese, and I'm also a tiny bit Native American (Lummi Tribe), but mostly I'm European; English, French, Welsh, Irish, German, etc. As for famous ancestors, Giles Cory was my great great great great *insert like a billion more greats here* uncle!

There are others, but i can never remember them.

I'm several generations American, with my mom's side being mostly German with a touch of Scottish and my dad's side with lots of English but also some Greek and Norwegian. I'm sure there's a sprinkling of other stuff as well. I don't know about being related to anyone famous, nor do I particularly care, but my great-grandfather on my dad's side was an artist, and he made some pretty cool stuff.

I'm half German, half Chinese. My grandpa on my dad's side (I never really knew him...) was a professor at Harvard and help steer the technological era. His computers are somewhere in the bay area, but my dad has yet to find them.

Somehow part German, Scottish, English, and yeah... that’s all I know for now. My dad was really big on the German part. He thinks our last name was like a black smith or something. He always used to talk me that whenever we got together, and I was interested until like the 100th time. XD

I'm American and Irish, mostly. On my dad's side, I'm pretty much all the way American, and we think we're descended from one of the people in charge of the mayflower. I'm not going to say who, for privacy, but he was rather important. On my mom's side, I'm partly Irish. I think my great grandpa was from Ireland.

Woah! Both sets of our great x a lot, grandfathers might have been on the same ships!

I am 50% Belgian, and then a mish-mash of Italian, German, Polish, Bask, Netherlandian, and probably some other random European countries.
P.S. I'm pretty sure Netherlandian is not a word... But oh well! XD

I'm not sure of the actual percents, but I'm a little bit Scottish, a little bit Irish, a lot Italian (my great grandparents immigrated), and a lot Brittish. My grandparents both came from England.

Did you mean heritage?

I'm part Lithuanian, and a little German. There are a few more countries, but I'm not really sure. Anywhere in Eastern Europe.

I'm mostly English, Scottish, and Wales-ish, but also a quarter Swedish and some part Ukrainian. My great-grandparents lived in
One side of my family used to be nobility in England. There's a family seal with a mermaid on it that got passed down from oldest son to oldest son. When my grandfather took it to a museum in England to get more information about it, they said that our ancestors had actually been usurpers and the seal didn't rightfully belong to us! My grandfather kept it anyway.

My great grandparents lived in Canada before my grandfather came to the states. I must have forgotten to type that.
