Obviously everyone here speaks English, but what other languages do you guys speak, for the bi and trilingual people out there? I speak English and French.

German, for all you who are curious about the language on my "Please Don't Translate" thread.

And all of us speak sarcasm.

Wow, like that's totally an actual language.

And music, for everyone who knows what A minor is and think "#" is a sharp.

What do you get when you throw a piano down a mineshaft?

A flat minor!

O-M-G-sharp Elena just said something that was SO close to the word two in German!

I speak English, along with Hebrew and French. However, I would not claim to be fluent in either of those last two. Zeus, are you fluent in French or learning it?

I speak English, music, Russian, and am learning Spanish!

I also plan to learn French if I get a chance after I finish college (wayyy in the future. I'm still only 14) :)

I used to be able to speak reasonably good Hindi, because I lived in India for a year, but that was when I was six, and I only know a couple words now. I'm also learning Spanish.

I also speak music, sarcasm, and Harry Potter. Especially Harry Potter. :-)

I'm sorry, Pepper Star, but I don't speak French to readily check what you said. So I can't post it.

I've taken Spanish 1 and I'm decent at Spanish. My teacher wanted me to skip Spanish 2 and go on to Spanish 3, but I refused. I want to learn the language proper, and that's not going to happen if I skip levels. I know a bit of Norwegian and besides writing and some struggles with grammar, I'm fluent in Brazilian Portuguese. @Zeus is your family French? Who do you practice your French with?

I speak English (obviously), a bit of French, a bit of Spanish, sarcasm (fluently), and music. Oh and fangirl/reference.

I speak English, naturally, and a little of Spanish, Vietnamese, and Hebrew. I also have researched French grammar and such quite a bit since one of the characters in my novel is from France. I'm nowhere near able to speak in it coherently, though.

I am learning Swedish and a little bit of Spanish and I know a few random words in French.

Has anyone heard of Duolingo? It is a language learning program that I use.

Yes! I use Duolingo too! I'm learning French. Do you have/does the language you're learning have the flirting section? I got it just because I could, so now I can ask someone to dance in French. I'm planning asking someone at the next dance I go to. (Which is coming up! I'm super excited!)

@GreenMango, my family isn't French but my mom was taught it from an early age and is fluent. I've learned it my whole life, partly from lessons, partly from talking with my mom and partly from many vacations to French speaking places.

@Silverwaxwing, yeah, Duolingo is great. I've recently been using it to learn Italian, though I'm still terrible at it...
