We got iPads too. Except for mine there isn't someone moderating it. I forgot to charge it like ten times so far.
I guess it's nice but occassionally it doesn't work, which is pretty annoying.
We can have apps on ours. Like someone put Youtube as an app on theirs. And didn't get in trouble for it. I don't have any apps except the ones the school had me put on there since I mostly just use my laptop.

Two things, Savvy.
1. Our school doesn't get iPads till grade 7. Phooey.
2. We got to go to the Computer Lab (okay, Computer Math room, same difference) during this sort of prep thing, and got free time on the computers. But they had to block stuff that wasn't school appropriate.
You know the NYCDOE is crazy because THEY BLOCKED THIS SITE! AND IT'S UNDER THE CATAGORY "EDUCATIONAL WEBSITES!"
At least they didn't block NaNo.... and they didn't block Gmail. They block the CB, but not Gmail. *shakes head slowly*

My school doesn't have iPads. We get... laptops! I'm at a private school so everybody buys their own (or they borrow one from the school) and nothing is blocked. THIS computer, my home desktop, has "parental controls" so I can't go on some websites "with inappropriate content". And my brother can't use the computer after 9 o' clock. But here's the thing, sometimes it randomly blocks things that I KNOW aren't inappropriate. Like threads on CB, which the Admins read all the posts so that's impossible.

So...I have a crush on a person. Wow. How amazing. The thing is, I just found out he has a girlfriend. So now I'm kinda deflated. I don't want to be his girlfriend, I'm too young for that, but still, it hurts. He's kind of too young for a girlfriend too. Whatever.

Picture this. You told your BFF that you have a crush on this guy. You tell her not to tell him. A couple weeks later, she tells him. In front of a bunch of other kids.

I'm in a similar position, only I have a crush on a really good friend on mine and it sucks because he will never like me that way back;( So close, yet so far.

I DONT have a crush on anyone. But I like to pretend. This sounds weird but seriously it's fun! And the good part is if they're already taken, or they just hate you or something, who cares? It's not like you ever really had feelings for them! Just find another guy! Right? Ya, except pretending to like all these people gave me a REAL crush. Boo! And he already has a... No not girlfriend just girl he constantly talks to and... BLAH! It's a mess because I don't know if she's pretending...

There's this kid that I like. Yeah, LIKE-LIKE, but, you know, a harmless thing. But I found out he likes me back! And (after I gave him my permission) my friend told him I like him!

Oh, you poor people! Worrying your pretty little heads over crushes! I'll give y'all hugs anyway. The cellos in my orchestra and I have become great friends since the start of the semester, and I would play nothing but cello in an orchestra, but we're not like FRIENDS friends. That would be weird. Two of them're in Journalism and my sister's in Journalism and I wonder if Journalism needs an editor because I'd be happy to be one. That would be cool, plus the Journalism teacher subbed my Social Studies class last-minute and she knows me and likes me and wants to put my drawings in the newspaper. So that's cool.
Hmm, that's weird- Hallia says bgyn. Begin what? What do I need to start? I finished the Enflish and advisory posters, started on my NaNOWriMo, finished all my homework, practiced instruments...
