-Read
-Knit
-Play Solitaire
-Listen to podcasts (you can also do that while doing some sort of craft or maybe play solitaire.)
-Put on some music and reorganize your bookshelf.
-Make a fort out of blankets, chairs or sofa pieces. Then do something fun inside.
-Write a weird story, particularly Kevin Shapiro. (Daniel Pinkwater? Anyone? Nobody? Hehehe...)
-Journal
-Stick random artworks on your wall
-Spin around in circles until you fall down (this can also be done outside)
-Climb a tree when there's not ten thousand feet of snow outside.
-Gather some people and play Calvinball.
-Put up your hair in some really intricate way.
-Paint your nails with something crazy. (These two are probably more girly.)
-Leave riddles/death threats on post its all over the house.
-Make lists of things.
-Rant to the mirror.
-Memorize a poem.
-Make a snow sculpture (weather permitting).
-Make a house of cards.
-Read. Because you can always read more books.
Hope this helps!

-Climb a tree when there's not ten thousand feet of snow outside. <-- I would write lol but that's not my kind of thing. I would also laugh evilly except something tells me there's ten thousand feet of snow outside my door. So instead, I will have to settle for a meager, unpredictable "haha", and the question/statement: Why NOT climb a tree when there's snow outside? It reminds one of summer; the last time one sat in that tree. (here is where someone, probably the admins, will say something about ice...oh well)
here are a few:
-organize something, particularly that huge pile of CDs that have become lost from their cases....
-go on a hunt for that one book in your house that you haven't read yet, then, if found, make sure it's appropriate and read it.
-make sure all the clocks in your house are on the same time (hopefully the right time, too)
-make a birthday list
-write a book review
-read some thing you normally wouldn't read, then write a review of it.
Captcha says bomo. Do you mean boom, Captcha? Did something blow up?

Not that climbing trees is an entirely safe pastime, but snow usually means cold, and the various things that come along with snow could increase discomfort once inside the tree, and it may be not as safe to climb because of slipperiness and hands not working as well from cold or wearing gloves. There's also a lot more interesting things you can do once you're in the tree when it's not cold and wet and uncomfortable. I have a tree perfect for reading in. It's beautiful. That is a summer pastime, definitely, because you don't want the book to get wet.

Here's a fun game to play with your friends and family! Gather everyone in a circle. The first person goes to the middle and acts something out without talking or making a sound. The person next to him/her in the circle stands up and asks "What are you doing?" and the person in the middle answers with something that he/she wasn't doing. Then the next person acts that out! Be sure to make it silly.

Have you ever heard of the Questions Game? If I told you that it's a game where you try to hold a conversation while only ever asking questions, the first person to make a statement, command, or other non-question, loses, what would you say? PLAY IT! It's lot's of fun! oh bother, now I've lost again...
Another fun thing is the WHAT? game, invented by my brother. The aim of the game is either to get someone in the room other than you to say WHAT?!, or else to thoroughly annoy or unsettle them. The way this is done is by, in the middle of doing whatever you are doing, at random times, to say loudly, mutter ominously, or yell something completely random. CONSTANT VIGILANCE!, CODFISH!, SHRUBBERY!, HADDOCK!, and Shakespeare quotes all work rather well, but the aim of the game is to be random, so anything else works just as good!
