When we post on the chatterbox and the Admins get our comments/threads, can they see what part of the country we post from?

Admins, have you seen my post about my being new to the Chatterbox? I have looked in Pudding's Place, where I posted it, but I can't find it anywhere! Please help!!
If comments seem to disappear, they may be found on a back page. Then if you add a comment, posting that will send it back to the front.

Yes, it would stay in the same section. If you really can't find it, you can resubmit it.

Hey, Admins, I've noticed that when a new comment gets posted (by anyone, not just me) and it goes viral, I can't view the comment till its, say, 3 or 4 hours old. Would that just be my computer, or something else???
If a new thread seems to disappear, look on a back page. Posting the first reply comment usually sends a thread to a back page. Then the next comment brings it back to the front. Beyond that, I have no idea. Sorry.

That may also be because the admins need to review comments before they are posted. If one of them isn't online, it could take a while for it to go up.

Admins, is the Chatterbox considereda social media? Because if so, I'll have to stop coming on here because my mom doesn't allow me to do any kind of social media...
Admin: Forums like the Chatterbox were around before the term "social media" got popular. We are technically a place where people come to socialize with each other—but I think "social media" usually refers to sites like Facebook, Instagram, etc., not forums. If your mom doesn't want you to talk to other people online, then you probably shouldn't come here! But we are a safe space for kids—we don't allow anyone to share personal information, and we filter comments that may be inappropriate for younger readers.

Admins, have you seen my posts? One of them was where CBers would share ideas on how to get to sleep easier, and the other was a ner CB store. Did you block them for some reason?
Yes, I remember posting both of them. If you don't find them near the front, look on the back pages. Someone replied to the store wanting to buy a journal, so posting that may have sent it to the back. And Maggie, I think, replied on the sleep thread. I think some of the others know another way to find threads. Maybe one of them will answer with better advice. Sorry I can't be of more help.

For those who are having trouble finding threads you've just posted, here's what I do:
I click the 'Submitted by' once so it goes back to the old posts in 2008ish. Then I click it again and usually the newer posts are at the top. Hope that helped!
