Two Admins in Chicago office and one in central Illinois. We take turns. That's it.

So you Admins work 24/7 to make sure that all the CB posts are appropriate? By the way, Admins, do you mind telling me what you consider innapropriate? Also, Lottie's mom wants to know: do you Admins keep track of what captcha says? Because her mom found something that it said to be innapropriate, and now Lottie's forbidden to come on here until at least April, so her mom can better research the CB. Is there a website for her mom to visit that will answer all her questions?
Well, we don't work 24/7. We do sleep, eat, etc. But one of us does post comments on evenings and weekends, whenever we have time, according to what else we have to do. We have no control over captcha letters. They are just a random selection, and we don't ever see them. We just see the comment submitted. We consider anything inappropriate for Chatterbox if it is not suitable for our youngest readers.

I'm glad you asked, Nina. When I clicked to enlarge the photos as you directed, along with the enlarge image there were some other photos at the bottom that we would not want on Chatterbox and some links to other sites that we aren't allowed to post. If you can post the pictures (which were adorable) without links to these unwanted images and sites, then we will post them. I hope you understand.

I was wondering what is the age range of the admins? Like our ages? At first I thought the posters were admins.
From young to older, but we're all young at heart.
Describe how long it takes to go through your work.
As long as it takes. Some days there are more comments than others, and some comments are longer than others.
Do you get paid?
Yes. But we all have other things we do for the magazines, too.
Do you read the stories we write?
Yes.
Do you have any pets?
I don't, but we used to have a cat. I don't know about the other admins.
Do you guys write too?
Some of us do, sometimes.
What's your favorite school subject?
That's tough for me. I like English, especially literature, music, art, science, . . .
Have you ever been in a storm/disaster?
I've been safe at home during some strong blizzards. And I do remember a couple car trips in pouring rain, when it's really scary to be traveling in a car on the Interstate when visability is about zero. And one snowstorm trip like that. But somehow, we've always arrived safely.

Would you alert the police to this post?
We Admins and Editors would discuss it, but likely not report to the police since we have no way of knowing who is really sending a comment or where it comes from. IF the comment included a specific place then we might conisider passing the info on to the authorities.

Here are some questions for you, admin!
1. What's your favorite animal?
2. What's your favorite food?
3. What's your favorite season?
4. What kind of genre of books do you like the best?
5. What was your favorite school subject?
6. How often to Chatterboxers post on here? Every second, minute, or hour?
I've answered some of these before. I'm not good at naming one favorite because I have many favorites of most items. But I'll do my best.
1. cats
2. spaghetti
3. fall
4. historical fiction
5. English literature (music and art, too)
6. Many per hour (20?) during the day and evening, few overnight. But it varies greatly.

I have a question for you...how old are you all? Like, all three of you? Are you adults? Or teens, like us?
Oh, and also: which place do most posts come up on (Inkwell, Pudding's Place, Down to Earth, Blab about Books, Chirp at Cricket, or This month)?
We're all adults, some younger some older. We don't see which section comments are going to. You can look at all the threads in each section to judge for yourself.

What is your favourite play/musical? Mine is Matilda The Musical.
Tough question. I'll have to say a tie between Showboat and Fiddler on the Roof. But The Lion King is right up there, too. Each is a favorite for a different reason. All great.
