Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Official Registration for

Official Registration for Newly Minted TCCP (The Chatterbox Currency Project).

Based off of: http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/chirpatcricket/node/67196

Now that Stickfiddler has created a mall (http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/inkwell/node/114557) and Watermelon a thread hospital (http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/downtoearth/node/118718), it is implied that CBers will need to be spending virtual money. And to earn virtual money, they will need a job. And then there will be a whole network of businesses and workers and whatnot.

So, I would like to know just who is participating in these projects by filling out the following form. All starting participants will receive $150,000. Fill it out and submit it to this thread so Stickfiddler and I know who is a participant.

Also optional: instead of working somewhere, open your own business! Post a thread and sell things from it. It will cost money to create a "building" and to buy starting inventory, deducting from your starting money. But it shall be worth it in the end.

Coming soon: A bank, inventory (for purchased items) and other things to make keeping track of money and whatnot easier.

Official Form of Officialness:

We had taxes last time, too. I think it was something like 75 cents a purchase.

Gosh darn it, I just lost all I wrote! I'll have to start over!

Name: Pysedonym Theo Wickland

I am not currently employed. I am starting a bussiness. What do I do? I write, draw, and read. Ha. See my business below.

Name of Bussiness: Comic Store (Name for the store later)

Short Description: I sell and write comics. Expensive comics, mind you, but only the best. And there are magical cats in my shop. They don't eat the comics.

Building size: Like Big Brain Comics, I will pack into a small store. It works.

How much will my inventory cost? I have no idea. I'm suppose to know these things? Since a graphic novel is priced at an average of ten dollars, it must've been bought for fifteen, so fifteen times one thousand (only the best) would be fifteen thousand dollars. That's how much. And chairs. I'll go to Ikea or Target for those. Or if someone starts a furniture outlet.

Am I hiring? Yes. I am hiring. Not too many people, though. And the cats have to like you. Actually, you could say that the cats are hiring. There's three of them; Kate, Benjy Mouse (We call him Benjy Mouse, but shortened it's Benjy), and Chloe. More about the cats later. And there might be some robots that help around the shop. So hiring wise, if the cats like you, I am hiring. No more details than that yet.

Please note Pysedonym is not part of my name, and that my store will be opened sometime from the twenty third to the twenty fifth in Pudding's Place. Plus, I lost a bunch, down to only 134,000 dollars. I just realised, you buy comics for less than sold. I hope you guys don't mind pricey comics!

Also is there sale tax?

See the first page. 75 cents. Possibly different for food items; still trying to brainstorm.

Name: Watermelon

Are you currently employed at the Mall or Thread Hospital or any other store? Please tell us your position and what you do: I guess I am, at the thread hospital, which I started.

Section for those starting their own businesses:

Name of business: The Thread Hospital

Short description of business: People will post links to their threads and I will top the threads for them for $50

Building size ($1,000 dollars for small store, $5,000 for medium store, $10,000 dollars for large store, $50,000 dollars for warehouse): $1,000? it doesn't need to be that big.

How much your inventory will cost (be reasonable!): Well, I'm not really selling anything. It's more of a service.

Are you currently hiring?: Yes. I will assign my employees different threads to top and they can top them themselves, and get paid, I don't know how much yet.

If there are shops, banks, cafes, etc, then there should be a map.  Is there any way to post that sort of thing?

If I stole someone's name, please let me know-I just got here!

Welcome, Bookworm. I don't think we have anyone else here with that name.

Hi, Bookworm! You should make a "Hi I'm new" thread so we can all get to know you. :) If you need help with anything, just ask.

Anyways, a map is a good idea. I think I'll wait til we get a few more people and stores opened, and then I'll ask people about it. We're already making a map for the mall.
