Hunger Games Discussion
This post is...

This post is just for anyone to talk about anything concerning The Hunger Games: the movie, or the trilogy. I really want to know as much about it, so just... write, write, write, and talk, talk, talk. Just keep to the books, though, no discussions about revolutions or outside topics.

Okay, revolutions, do have something to do with HG, but I just meant no talking about French revolutions or Russian Revolutions and things like that. Talk about Panem revolutions all you want!

My friends went Friday night.  Was it good, people who were going?  I heard it awesomeazing!

All the reports I've heard have been positive. Fans love it. I must admit this Admin has not even read the book or any of the Twilight books. But I loved all of Harry Potter.

Everyone I know who saw it but hadn't read the books said it was really dark. I personally thought the movie would be able to stand alone, but maybe I'm biased. One person who saw it without reading the book said it was kind of confusing. Was it?

I actually haven't read these yet...yes I know I'm like the only one on the planet who hasn't!!! Don't murder me please!  I will, I promise!! And neither have I seen the movie...But Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence, right?) looked really pretty!!!

You're not the only one, Mattie. I haven't read them either.

@Mattie- Don't worry. We won't murder you. ;) I actually know quite a few people who haven't read the books...

@Admin- If you ever have time, you might want to check them out. They're really awesome! Oh, and in response to another post of your's: you really don't need to waste your time with Twilight. :)

Josh Hutcherson said he doesn't want to return as Peeta in the next Hunger Games movies because he's scared of the fans... (!!!) While he isn't amazing, he's probably best for the job... :(

Josh NEEDS to stay around! Although the closest I've gotten to read HG is reading the People magazine Collectors Edition of the movie, but he totally seems right.

I'm a major Hunger Games/Josh stalker and I've never heard him say that.  In fact, I've heard him say many times that he's excited for the next movie.  Anyway, that's just stupid because it's way too late to pull out right now.  But, who knows, you may be right.

First of all: THESE BOOKS ARE SOOO GOOD!
Second of all: They did a pretty good job with the movie. Katniss looked good, and I thought that Gale was fine. They really messed up on Peeta and Cinna, though. I don't know what it was about Peeta, he just looked wrong. Cinna was white in the book, though they did get the gold eyeliner, which was a good touch.
Third of all: I think that Mockingjay was the goriest one by far, but the ending was super sweet. It was perfect. Catching Fire has the most surprises, but maybe that's just me. The first book (the Hunger Games) did a really good job of pulling people in.
And that is my opinion on all things Hunger Games. Cool

@Zoe:

How are you able to get it that short?  I would go on forever talking about the Hunger Games.  I was going to try to do a mock Hunger Games, but the friend I was doing it with and I had a fight, so we aren't doing it anymore.
