Congratulations! I didn't have many theories--just a few general ideas about the personalities that went with the 3 cores and maybe a few about the woods and some about lengths and flexibility--but they were confirmed, too, except when it came to phoenix cores. I was wrong about that.

Thank you so very much for mentioning wand cores. I'm at Chapter 16 and was wondering when I'd ever get to learn about wands. So after a little research, I found that I had completely missed all the information about wands in Chapter 5. I guess I was so excited to get a wand that I missed the information entirely. But I'm very pleased with my wand now that I know more about it - I think it fits my personality well. :)
Re: predictions - Yes, TNÖ, congratulations! I had absolutely no theories and was very interested to see what wands were all about. As I said before, I'm very happy with what I got, but I'm also really happy that JKR gave us such great and detailed information about wands. I do personally wish that she had given us more information on length and flexibility, but no matter. She has done enough!

I finally got in!!! I never thought I would, it was taking so long. But I'm so happy I can go on now! My wand is twelve and a half inches, holly, and dragon core. I was sorted into Gryffindor:( I was badly hoping for Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff, but Gryffindor will have to do since I can't change it. I'm trying to brew a potion for boils, but it is only 72% percent complete last time I checked, and the server keeps going down saying they're making routine changes. I'm so excited though!

Yaty, that's so exciting!! Well, I have a friend who was thinking she'd either get into Ravenclaw or Gryffindor and ended up in Slytherin. And now that she's there I can kinda see why, so I'm sure there's some part of your that's meant to be in Gryffindor. And also, you're my first friend from Gryffindor, so that's cool. :)
Yes, it is so annoying that the site is down, but that's what we get for having everyone on. I do hope they work on their servers, though, because October 1st is going to be a madhouse.

Yeah. I just thought it was kind of freaky because they sent me a request once, and I denied it because I had no idea who it was, and then they sent me another request! My sister got a request from the same person! :\

I GOT IN!!!!!!!!!! It is sooo cool!!!!!!!! I have a tawny owl and my wand is Elder with Unicorn hair, 10 3/4", and I got sorted into Ravenclaw!!!

They're extending the beta period to October. It should be open for registration by the end of October, but they said that not everyone will be able to get in at that time either.

@Amy: That's so awful isn't it? I mean all these people were getting their hopes up and everything and then Pottermore just had to extend Beta. They're lucky they have such a great fan base... :) Well, let us know when you get in!

Okay, I'm NettleFlight64.
I've finished Philosopher's Stone!! But Chamber of Secrets isn't opened yet:( Oh well. I can still go back and cast spells and brew potions. (Slytherin's in the lead!) Even though I'm in Gryffindor, I can't help but rooting for Ravenclaw! gggaaarrrr!
