YAY!!! THis book just came out two days ago and I am really excited to read.
I am not sure I will be fishing Harry Potter and the Gobet Of FIre because after I finished my test for the day I left the book in the classroom and I didn't remember until about half an hour later and when we came back to get it it wasn't there and then the person who was in charge of the testing wasn't there and didn't answer the phone so yeah I don't know if I will be able to finish it.
(May 5, 2011 - 2:37 pm)
Finished Prince Caspian today. It was a really good book! But I guess I say that for all books... :-) I am halfway through Voyage of the Dawn Treader. I started it this afternoon. My book count is now 5. And a half if you count the book I'm currently reading :-) This is fun!
(May 5, 2011 - 6:04 pm)

(May 6, 2011 - 6:43 am)
It's okay Elizabeth M. I haven't finished any books yet either. I am in the process of reading two, but don't have the time to finish them quickly.
(May 6, 2011 - 2:30 pm)
I feel like a failure but at least I'm not the only person who hasn't finished the book.
(May 7, 2011 - 1:21 am)
All right, I've got a couple.
I finished Ashes of Roses on May 4th. It's about a girl (Rose) and her experiences in America as an immigrant. She and her sister, Maureen, live through the Triangle Factory fire. The verdict: The book was really good, but took a long time to get to the exciting part. The end was so well written I cried.
Book (Title and Author): 1-800-WHERE-R-YOU: When Lightning Strikes by Meg Cabot (writing as Jenny Caroll)
Started: May 5, 2011
Finished: May 5, 2011
Pages:266
This book is about a girl who gets hit by lightning. This lightning gives her the power to know where any person is located if she looks at a picture of them right before she goes to bed.
This one was so good, I couldn't put it down. Literally. I don't think I put it down all day. There was a lot less romance than in other Meg Cabot novels, and a lot more action. I liked that. ///SPOILER/// There was this whole infirmary break scene that was just so great. ///SPOILER OVER/// Oh, one last thing I should add: it's set up like a police statment.
Book (Title and Author): Dear America: The Fences Between Us: The Diary of Piper Davis by Kirby Larson
Started: May 5, 2011
Finished: May 7, 2011
Pages: 313, including historical notes
This book is the diary of a girl whose brother was at Pearl Harbor. Her father is the preacher at a Japanese chuch, so when they are moved to a camp in Idaho, she has to move.
I loved it. ///SPOILER/// It was so sad when Mr. and Mrs. Matsui died. ///SPOILER OVER/// I like how commited Piper was to taking pictures of everything for her brother.
I just started The Romeo and Juliet Code by Phoebe Stone today. I'll do a formal entry on that after I finish it.
Sorry if that was bad... I'm tired.
I'm up to 3 finished books and 1 unfinished book so far!!!

Admin, what time zone is the time on each post?
I have no idea about the time zone on comments. When we post comments, the page doesn't show any time at all. We'd have to go back and look at the queue of comments. Why don't you send a comment and in the comment itself include the time and time zone you are sending it? Then you could compare that to time in the queue and figure it out yourself.

It used to be central time, but I think it changed around Christmas or before.
I looked at the list, and I think it is Central Time, that's now Central Daylight Time.
